My Hero
My Hero My hero is one that is very close to me. My hero is the person that gave birth to me. My hero is my mother. I chose my mom as my hero because to me that is what she is and more. My mom is literally the backbone in the family. She takes care of everything in the family and around the house. Before I began to drive my mom would take me everywhere. My mother like many others has been to the moon and back just to help me. She is such a kind person, she gives me advice about anything, she is always helping me convince my dad about anything, and most importantly she helps me get away with everything. My mom is not just my mother she is more than that, she is like the best friend I could ever have. I remember the amount of times that I had castings and my mom would drop everything she was doing to pick me up from school, take me home to fix myself up, and then drive to the castings wherever it was that they were. My mother is perhaps one of the mentally strongest people that I know. She has been through so much throughout her life that I don’t even know how she was able to get through everything. Most of what I know about life lessons it is because she has taught me. My mom is the most inspiring, talented, and intellectual person ever. There was this one time where she told me this sad story about her and her first boyfriend which for her was the most embarrassing thing ever and I really don’t blame her. What that guy did to her was terrible but she got through it. She told me that story as an example of how to explain to not trust anybody no matter who they are or how much you think you know them. My mom wasn’t born in America she was born in Cuba though she did travel to the United States because she was an athlete. Her water polo team was an olympic team in Cuba, therefore, they were invited to many places outside of Cuba. Out of her entire family she was the first person to leave Cuba at her age and the she left it indefinitely when my dad came. Of
