My Hero
A True Hero True heroism is remarkably sober, very unspectacular. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others. My dream begins with a teacher who believes in me, who drags, drives and leads me to the next plateau, sometimes poking me with a sharp stick called “truth”. There are many things which can make a teacher great and they all can’t be defined. However, I have always considered several of them essential. A worthwhile teacher is someone who creates and stimulates the interest not only in studying, but also in inspiring, doesn’t underestimate the students, has equal expectations of success from everyone, and of course, likes his job. My teacher has been my living hero since I entered the vibrant world of education. He is the one who helps me how to add cheerfulness and how to subtract twinges in my term of existence. He encourages me how to multiply achievements and fulfillments, and how to divide abhorrence and detestation that are bumping into my life. He pushes me to soar high as I can be, keep reaching my dreams, strive what is the real me. He has inspired me to compose the best novel I can ever write. My teacher gives me something to take home to think about besides homework and assignments. Aside from teaching from the books, he also teaches from the heart. A unique and ideal trait of my teacher which truly inspires me is being a candle. He consumes himself to light the way for others. For me, he is more than just Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Gregorio del Pilar and other heroic figures. He affects eternity, He can never tell where his influence stops. I appreciate all the deeds of my teacher. He does everything just for the sake of learning of his students. Although sometimes, he gives us challenging tasks and tough assignments to be accomplished, I understand his purposes and objectives. In fact, I am very eager to finish and to master

Growing up reading and writing has always been a part of my life; you could always catch my mom sitting in her chair with a book by her favorite author in her hand. I’ll always remember the day that she read a play to me, she was never into theatre as a kid but she read it as if she had been on Broadway. I think that is where my love for reading as well as theatre first started, just watching her so focused and completely into a book. It always amazed me and to this day it still does. I’ve also had some amazing teachers throughout my school years. Have you ever had those teachers who would do anything in the world for you? The teachers who just made you so excited to learn? I know that I have a few; they are the ones that you could never forget. From my English teachers to my theatre teachers, they have all made a difference in my life. I know that it sounds crazy that theatre ties in with all of this, but it does in so many ways.…

Over the course of my years of schooling I have had many teachers. I’ve had some of the best such as my fifth grade teacher, Mr. Moore, who taught me how to learn math, my eighth grade science teacher, Mrs. Turner, who taught me to have fun in school, but still be serious, my tenth grade chemistry teacher, Mrs. Huggins, who made class hard also made it enjoyable at the same time. The best teacher I have ever had thought taught me one of the most important things in life, how to write. She may not have been the nicest lady as she gave me my first detention in ten years of school. (To this day it was still my only detention) Her class was the second hardest class I ever had in my four years of high school; the only thing harder was AP psychology,…

    Teacher of Year Essay

First I want to tell you with whom I honor, with whom I have, learned to respect, and who deserve the outmost admirations. The teachers I am talking about work hard to do a great job, because, above all, it is a kind of responsibility so to speak towards their students and relevantly toward themselves. I have had several teachers in my years as a student both in the primary and secondary schools among which there were only few whom I felt to fit the description above, maybe most of them were good in their own way, but one cannot be sufficient in all ways or I may also have misunderstood them. However, the teacher that I chose as deserving of the “My Favorite Teacher” earned this title due to the care she showed to each of her students through her teaching, personality, and the all the fun had in her class is Ms. Fleming my writing teacher. Ms. Fleming is an open minded, caring person who seemed to love what she is doing. Ms. Fleming is more than a teacher to me; she is a person you could go to with a problem and she would try and help you find the answer. She would help you, but expected you to put the work into finding out for yourself how to do something. She always came across as someone who cared about every student as if they were her “children”. Ms. Fleming is like a book that gives you the right information that would help you on getting a six on the FCAT writing. About 95% of her student’s agree that Ms. Fleming spent each day preparing us for the FCAT writing in thirteen days. The first time I walked into the classroom I notice a flaming red headed teacher sitting down. I thought that she would be a boring, and mean teacher giving her student’s a lot of homework and essays to write. Every word that comes out of her mouth sounds like music to my brain. When it comes to teaching she doesn’t let out a lot of stress, most of the stress comes from whether or not her student’s would receive a four or higher on the FCAT writing. When I’m in class Ms. Fleming have…

Mother Teresa stated, “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are endless.” It was those kind words that I remember from each individual teacher I had growing up. I remember spending countless hours learning with different techniques from different teachers. I’ll never forget Mrs. Marie Simcoe, for she was that kind voice echoing endlessly. She was my kindergarten teacher. I remember always wanting to help her and to be just like her. She was kind hearted and soft spoken. She taught with care and did everything she could to get her students to understand without a word of frustration.…

By far, one of the best teachers I have ever had in all of my years of school, has been my eighth grade English teacher, Mrs. Dunlap. Before I had her class, I enjoyed English, and I enjoyed reading, but I still had struggles with it, and I was not that passionate about it. All of that changed, however, when Mrs. Dunlap was my English teacher. She was someone who truly cared about the subject that they taught- She was invested in every single piece of literature that she taught us, she explained grammar in a way that made it fun (For me, at least), and she was attentive to the learning needs of each and every student.…
