My Gothic Story
My Gothic Story
A cold gust of wind blew, against my cheeks. There was noise, I looked up and there was drips of blood falling onto the hollow floor coming from the echoing ceiling. It was a rough night, the stars hid away behind the dull grey clouds. There was a bright full moon shining in the clear night sky. My voiceless shadow stumbled after me as I followed the footsteps of an unknown creature lurking in the dark and gloomy woods........... It all started when I was hovering outside of an old lofty Victorian hotel. I knocked "three" times waiting for someone to come and greet me and show me to a room, but nobody answered and the door opened itself; at first I thought it was the wind but the air was as till as an untouched glass of water. I went inside and searched for a room, when I found one I unpacked my things, but when I put my hairbrush down onto the bedside table was a reflection of an wrinkly old man, I looked around but there was nobody insight. I felt a chill and my hairs stood on end. The weather took a turn for the wore. I fell asleep. I was very confused and tired, so I thought that this was a nightmare, but the hotel staff told me I was asleep for days-but how could I been? I only arrived last night; so I had thought.I didn't understand what was happening. The next morning I went down to have breakfast. A man was sitting at the table staring at me as if he wanted something from me. He had rather long pointy teeth and a white plain face. He gazed at me in a very uncomfortable way. I backed away slowly but he appeared right in front of me, his wrinkly hands grabbed me strongly, not letting go...
He sat me down, tied me to a chair and put something into my mouth. He reveal his teeth and started dribbling. At first I thought it was a joke, I giggled but then he looked at me with his evil eyes. After a while he

It was morning, but something was not right. I felt strange like my body was not my own. I was in the same room, yet something was different. I got up looked in the mirror and was astonished at what I saw. I felt that what I was looking at could not be a mirror because the images I saw were not of me. I saw a poorly shaven man of about twenty-five staring back at me. He was thin and looked like death had barely escaped him. He was scary, although what scared me the most is thinking about what had happened to…

It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

I then left my hotel room and started to explore the hotel. I was on the top floor of the hotel so I took an elevator down to the lobby area. The sound of a howl ripped through the dark night. I stopped and shuttered, ‘Probably just a coyote.’ I thought to myself. It was too dark to see, running my hand through my hair, I flick it behind my shoulders. I remembered when my brother was alive he used to say, ‘You have such long beautiful hair Rose.’ Then the crack of a twig got my attention and I looked around. I didn’t see anything. I started jogging, not knowing where I was or where I was going. I heard steps start up behind me and I started to sprint. I didn’t know what I was running from.…

I went back outside and climbed back down the hole. I approached the door once more. I knocked, knocked, and knocked. No answer. So I opened the door as quietly as I could. The more I open it the louder it got. I tightly fit through the opening and asked if anyone was there? No answer. I walked around. It was really cold, big, and wet and slimy stuff was coming off the ceiling. I looked and there was a little door in the corner and all of a sudden the door slammed. "Ahhh!!.." I yelled. Thinking it was the wind. I slowly walk back to the door and behind me the pots and pans started to rattle and hit the wall and fall off the table. "This can't be happening. It's just the wind." But the door was shut. All of a sudden I felt a boney hand on my shoulder pushing me into the door in the corner that I seen earlier. What ever that person was doing to me was pouring this weird purple stuff in my mouth that made me fall asleep.…

I woke up with a start my heart racing. The dream slowly left my mind, too quick for me to see what it was about. After laying there for about a minute I sat up slowly and stretched my arms over my head until I heard a giant pop. Satisfied I rubbed the crust from my eyes and yawned a giant O. I threw off the covers and kicked my legs off to the side of the bed. I felt my toes run through the white carpet, smiling at how soft it was. I padded lightly through the hallway opening the door. I glanced at the clock on the wall; the time read 5:30 am. I did a double take 5:30?! It’s a Saturday! I was walking back to my room but stopped to look out the window in my living room. It was still a dark hue of black outside(delete) and a misty fog rolled around outside. It was so thick I couldn't see the houses across the street. The light post on the median that was in the middle of the street shined brightly, helping me see better. As I looked closely at the fog a shadowy figure ran out of the fog towards my house. My heart was pounding inside my chest. As I slowly backed away from the window, the figure stopped and turned its head and looked directly into my eyes. Its red eyes bore into my soul and it opened…
