My Favorite Movies
Today, I am going to talk about my favorite movies. I like to watch movies very much; especially I like foreign films lots than Japanese films, because I like to study foreign languages. I watch movies with English subtitle, and it is good how to learn English.
Do you know the film titled “BIG FISH”? That is my best favorite movie. The story is human drama, and I can see the love between father and the son. And the story is not only human drama, but also fantasy. It is most beautiful story that I have ever seen. Every time I was questioned “what is your favorite movie?” I tell the story of this one. When I watch this movie, I feel my heart warming.
Not only foreign films, I like the films made by Hayao Miyazaki. He is one of the most famous Japanese animator in the world. Every films that he made have some messages to the world. For example, he said “stop deforestation” in the film titled “the princess of mononoke.” And men characters that appear every film are all cool and good-looking. Also I can feel love in all films made by Hayao Miyazaki. He got an Academy Award in 2003 for the great film titled “Spirited Away.” That was the greatest achievements for him. But he always says that he never want to be a veteran. I am very impressed his words. And what the biggest point for his movie is everyone can enjoy the story even child, even adult.
To watch movies is very good habit for us. Movies give us many impressions and knowledge. I want to watch a lot of movies through my

Do you like funny/action movies? In my opinion, I love funny/action movies like “The Secret life of Walter Mitty”, about a young man and everywhere he goes, he daydreams of a girl name Cheryl Melhoff . One day Walter was pasting around in New York. He had received a phone call from a random man on the phone, but surprisingly it was Todd from E-harmony. Todd was helping Walter with his profile and explaining how he could send a wink to Cheryl to capture her attention. After a while Walter imagined that he smelled burning fire in the building, so he quickly ran and saved the love of his life, Cheryl. Cheryl was impressed by how he took the time to save her and how he waited to finally get that kiss he been waiting for. Walter ended up daydreaming about Cheryl everywhere he went. I found this movie really thrilling and enjoyable.…

Films that I particularly favor are thrillers. One reason Thrillers become so enjoyable for me, a sense of diversion is created making the viewers more indulge in the movie all the way to the ending. The plots are usually twisted, climatic, suspenseful and intelligence is often use far as the writing perspective to result in an ecliptic viewing of the movie. A really great thriller will usually bring a shock factor by the climax, then the movie will receive a better understanding from the beginning to end. Another genre of films I enjoy are Musicals they are fashionable and express emotions through singing. I am really into lyricism so I enjoy comparing the actual expression of the each character's individual story and the progression…

Storytelling is more important to me than anything else, and I believe film is one of the most rewarding and honest forms of storytelling. Ever since I was a little kid I have been in love with movies. When I was nine I got a camcorder for Christmas, and I would make my friends help me remake scenes from my favorite movies, and when they said the lines wrong I would yell at them and make them do it over and over until they got it right or got so annoyed with me that they went home.…

The most interesting movie that I have had the pleasure of watching recently was the movie Grown Ups. I wanted to go to the theater and see this movie because I enjoy comedies, and I usually relate really well with movies produced and played in by Adam Sandler. The comedy that was portrayed in the previews for this movie always got my attention and had me laughing, so I felt it would be worth it to go see it. Based upon the all-star cast I figured it would be a hit. These types of movies suit my personality and I can relate to the humor. It was generally a feel good movie.…

In society today movies are just something people watch for enjoyment but they never take a second and look at the real message behind the movie. Each movie has a different message and anyone can find it. If you fully analyze a film you can learn so much and see how much went in to making the film from the filming to the color and lighting and most importantly editing. As we move into the future and the technology advances I hope that people will look at movies as more than just something to do on a Saturday night and turn it into a learning experience that will last forever.…
