My Family Heritage
In my family, our heritage is extremely important. From a young age, I was exposed to the German language and culture, although my parents and grandparents are not fluent speakers. Just a few words here and there were enough to capture my attention and soon I began to catch on to a few key phrases. As I have grown older, I have kept a special place in my heart just dedicated to my family’s heritage, which I have learned to appreciate more every year. As a senior in high school, ready to embark on the new and frightening journey of college, I value my heritage more than ever.
