My Dream World
My dream world
I slowly drift in and out of sleep as obfuscated images dance in and out of focus. I find myself falling farther and farther into the darkness of oblivion where nothing is limited. How long will it last? I never know. Time appears to extend beyond all dimensions. The interstice between reality and fabrication widens, and out of the darkness a dim light forms. Objects begin materializing from beyond the ghostly shadows, and a vast new world is created.Looming in the infinite mist, a girl is inscribed in a desolate chamber. The walls consist of eternal night, and the flames of hell consume her. Her auburn hair is seared in the fire, and the blood pulsing through her veins begins to boil. I stood frozen on the fringe of the mist, unable to move my arms and legs. I looked down expecting to see a thousand pound weight tied to each of my limbs, but when I glanced...nothing. Fear threaded its ropes of uncertainty and caution throughout my body leaving me immobile. At this point, I could do nothing but watch and listen. The conflagration engulfed her body, and ate at her soul like a pack of famished wolves. Her shrill cries resounded off the walls, but the fire only grew hotter and more ferocious. A roar of relentless shrieks, screams, and yells (most of which weren't even hers and sounded as if they couldn't possibly belong to anything human) crashed into me like that of a raging sea against the jagged cliffs and rocks barricading it in. The world around me began to convulse, and then that's when it happened. It vanished...no light...no fire...no sound...only the feeling of complete nothingness. The naught continued for what seemed like an eternity. Was I floating in midair? My entire body was consumed by ambivalence. Finally, my stomach turned, and I was positive that I was falling. It started slowly at first, but then gradually increased in speed over time. I couldn't tell if I was going feet first, head first, or simply spinning in circles. The air

Something does not seem right, or rather, safe. You feel the presence of the night as if it was a living, breathing creature. What if it was? You feel someone's hands on you, and chills climb through your body. You know this is the last time you will ever see anything in your life. Your world is suddenly crumbling away. You hear a noise, the last one you will ever hear. It is something behind you. Something that would end your life. Your watch begins its final countdown. This is your last day.…

I turned to see an eerie figure running after us with haste. It occurred to me that I was alone, I looked forward to see her running away, I tried to reach her but every step was the same as walking in quicksand, with every step my feet was being pulled down towards the ground regardless of the heavy-load I now seemed to carry I towered through and reached the near-by bridged, however, I was to slow. An umbra shadow loamed over me, like a newborn baby I was lifted off the ground, where had all that weight gone, he moved closer and closer towards the bridge and dropped me… back to darkness I returned. The light pierced me and I woke up to find myself lying on the floor, with my sister crying beside me; I laid there as still as a doll not moving a finger or to acknowledge that I was awake, in my mind my whole life flushed pass me : my aspirations, my victories and my defeats. Then it came……

It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

A slight breeze blew throughout the dandy forest, swaying the stiff lifeless trees and blowing the black stained leaves across my bare white feet. As I stumbled across the dead landscape, a slight fog swam around blending in with the increasingly falling snow. Hundreds of dark wood surrounding me seemed to slowly cave in, creating a narrow cave-like passage. An eerie feeling swept over me, and I stopped completely, analysing every detail around me. The smog became thicker, blinding the scenery and almost completely covering my vision. I sensed an inhuman presence watching me, and flinched whenever a snapping sound came from a faraway distance. I slowly turned around and began pacing in the direction I came from. The fog smothered me but I kept running,…

The world seems hazy, like clouds have drifted into my vision and blinded me, forcing me to rely on my other senses. I listen, open up my ears to the world, but hear nothing except the occasional thud of heavy, ghost-like footsteps off in the distance. And then it is quiet, everything goes quiet, like all sound has been voided out of my ears, gone forever, leaving me trapped inside a prison that I don’t know how to escape.…

My rod was perched on a branch while I took a small break to check on my bait. Then in the corner of my eye I saw a child, no more than 8 years old, playing by the river. This was no time for someone this young to be all alone, so I decided to speak to him. I proceeded to the boy when suddenly I halted. My sixth sense echoed for me to stop, a mere 10 seconds passed when I pondered over why I had stopped. I was surprised at the abrupt change of weather, my body became surrounded by a ‘cold’ darkness and colds descended from heaven to earth. My body was shaking as a chill swam up my back tickling my hairs. A large figure advanced towards William, a monster, it had to be. Its feet pounded the ground as the innocent boy turned around. The minutes that followed were ones I could never forget… They exchanged a small conversion when the monster like object screamed “ You are related to Victor, you shall not survive”. The boy was picked up then he cascaded to the floor, life slowly exited him while I ran in fear”.…

The first thing I remembered was the intense headache, a black void sucking me into the depths of darkness. The only sound preventing me from falling into the abyss was the muttering behind the wall in front of me. I could just make out two men behind an opaque wall, conversing with what appeared to be a clip board in the man on the left’s hand. Beyond the walls, I heard the creaking of rusty door hinges as the inner door swung open. I heard the sound of footsteps as the two men approached the inner wall, treading upon metal. I heard the buzz of a card, and the two men entered. One Guard and a man in a lab coat.…

It calls to me and I question again if this is Reality. This fire's voice calls but in a way I cannot understand. A song perhaps? Is it singing? Humming? It has the ability to turn off the girl's voices. My Heart beats faster and as such so does this flame, the blue flame fading the closer I get. Behind me I sense something barreling toward me, a sinking feeling in my stomach. This fire, I know it can protect me from what lies behind me.Forcing myself up and willing my legs I attempt to run, adrenaline courses it's way through me as I feel that prickling darkness nip at my…

Rays of light came down from the dorm room ceiling and refracted like little daggers in my eyes, and the small box of a living quarters I was trapped in seemed suffocating. The lights were bemusing and bustling, and the room kept darting around, as if I were a passenger on a Japanese bullet train riding through a bright, dazzling city, the lights streaking past me wildly. I felt wobbly, but was still conscious to the world. I remembered Mistress J and her madness, her games, her plots and foils, they were all still present, even as the world began to spin. I didn’t want to feel like this. Even an obscured world, a distorted world, was far too much for me to handle in that moment. I wanted an utter darkness to consume me. I wanted a pure, placid, consuming black void to ensconce me, drowning out my mind and the complications that go with being me and doing the things that I’ve…

My own view of a utopian society is fairly simple, a place in which there is no pain, no crime, no anger, no corruption, where there is no need for "justice", a place where murders would never take place. The government would be a public government, in which all citizens would take actions they make would be fair not ingnerent like our govement. Women and men would have equal writes and shar opinons. If a war would start in my utopian nations and friends and answer 'stop this is a place of love'.But in society today this would never happen. than society would answer the call to war and fight to protect their homes. Also i would try protecting my nation, governments, to help protect/uphold laws and to rebuild the economy. Every person would be perfect have a home, good education and health, and grow up in the safety of a caring family. In nature they would be no killing, food would be grown and not effecct the food chain and we would eat speacly bread animals.…

    My Experience of Darkness

When I woke up in the darkest abyss I’ve ever been through, I feared that I was stuck in a dream that I couldn’t wake up to. I thought about all that I had gone through with those people, why couldn’t I just hang on a little bit longer. So I cried. I cried for my life and my past, the present. I wondered why God didn’t lead me rightfully down the acceptable path, then I realized it was a moment for me to decide my own fate, my own course. In this darkness, I had no idea what was left, or right, behind me or ahead of me. It seemed the moment I got up, I saw something above my head, it was yellow and hardly out of reach. I stretched for it and tried to reach it and failed. Again. I walked forward and felt a solid wall and tried to climb it with no success. Then, I heard a voice not my own fill the abyss of darkness, I cried out, “Who’s there? Do you have light in this darkness?” The mystery person said in reply, “I am below the light, just like you, but I am here to help you with your problems.” Not knowing what he meant, I followed the voice up what felt like a flight of stairs. I saw the yellow beam, it’s the light! I continued towards him and he started to just sound familiar. I cried out, “Peter!” My uncle who died from Leukemia in 1999, how could it be him, he died 10 years ago. He called to me, “yes, Liz, its me follow my voice.” I followed it out of the abyss into a long bright meadow with nothing but wildflowers and vines, but when I got out completely, there was no one there. Just the end of a rainbow at the other side of the meadow. Its beauty shocked me so I walked towards it in a gaze, when an eagle came down representing my pride and swiped my jacket off my back then flew away. I continued to walk in fear and a rabbit jumped into my path representing my disloyalty and wouldn’t move in. I ran and it stilled covered my path. Peter said, “apologize and be truthful and you won’t have to worry for its just a rabbit.” I did as I was told but had no idea who to…

I fell like a crumpled weight, blinded by the endless darkness that swiftly devoured the world. The dirt met my skin once again, but it felt much coarser than before – like soldered sandpaper. I heard the audience cheering. Some of them were laughing. I wasn’t sure who what doing what and where, but I was fairly certain some of the jubilance was exuding from the cheerleaders. Soon, all the sounds – from the creamy hymns of the fluttering doves to the throaty barking of the adolescent spectators – seemed to merge into a single, cacophonous screech. My eyes drifted towards the sky, which was now flecked with the odd colors of freshwater abalone. I prayed that the porcelain giants floating effortlessly in the heavens would descend to the mortal realm and crush my every…

As I leapt from the window of the dreaded vessel, I vowed I would never be privileged to see the sun as it rose anew. I thought of the past. I pictured my creator and I admired the picture of my fated self-destruction. Death did not scare me. How could it possibly when I already embodied the anatomy of a corpse so fully? Yes, this would be enough for me. To expire upon the diamond plains with the northern waves buried below me was the moonlit future I longed most for. My life had been altogether exhausted of breath and I, its humble advocate, was thoroughly depleted of any remaining will to gratify its pleas of invitation into the world that had so quickly recoiled from my hideous stature. This was to be how it ended. I had now outlasted the only identity that had ever attended to my entity at all. How could one conceivably carry on their everyday occupations without a single remaining acquaintance in the uncut span of the world? I longed for animation’s kiss of farewell as I departed forever from the hatred and confinement of this world. I advanced upwards along an icecap I had recently encountered as I continued my journey into death’s grip of acceptance. I knew full well I would not be missed. Not a soul among me had even granted me the gift or humanity of identity. I walked, nameless, among the masses of earth’s vast expanses. I was unknown, unneeded, and utterly and undeniably alone. As I neared my final resting place, a thought passed through me: What if instead of ended my existence in darkness and solitude, I exerted forth a flame to carry me on past this life? And thus was decided my fate would be that of eternal fire, for darkness was all I had ever been entreated to know of. Reaching the apex of the mountain, I removed my flint and steel from my right waistcoat pocket and struck the two together with such force that I did not know if the rocks would remain intact to themselves. When no spark ignited, I grew impatient and enraged. I must be the only being…

Opening the door slightly, I was greeted with a thick wall of darkness. Peering out into the inky blackness of the passageway, I tried to clam myself down to go down to the kitchen to grab some candles to light up the house. I finally felt ready to go down , as if I was fighting a war with the darkness. As I opened the door, the door seemed to come alive, making a creak sound, warning me not to go out of this room. Biting my lip, I groped around the black darkness. I quickly made my way towards the staircase. Just moments ago, I was still waving goodbye towards my parents when they went to their friends wedding party.…
