My dream house
My dream house
My dream house is situated in England or in Canada. I chose these locations because I prefer colder temperatures and I like the character of the people living there. Canada has got very polite and calm society and England is more about long lasting connections rather than quick relationships without farther impact, but let us return to the house description.
My house is made of solid oak wood due to its heat gathering capabilities and it’s marvelous color which I really fancy myself with. The house itself has 3 levels with an additional attic and a basement. The first floor has a long corridor filled with paintings, not ordinary though, all of the paintings and the paint is only in the tone of gray without any other colors. The paintings in this corridor are all based on the early nineties and are also gray-toned. On this level there is an additional computer room filled with steam-punk equipment and a computer with 8 screens hanging on the wall forming a u-shape to grant the 3d effect. The second floor contains all the family floors like the dining room, the kitchen and the living room. The dining room will be separated from the living room, for most obvious reasons: Everyone values attention granted to them, and I don’t want a simple TV to separate family members from one another. The dining room, kitchen, living room, and a bathroom (which will also be there) represents one year season. The bathroom represents winter, dining room represents autumn, living room summer and kitchen spring. The last level consists of personal rooms that styles will be dependent by its inhabitants.
In the last conclusion I would just like to say that my dream house isn’t just a building made with style. It would rather represent me as a mirror reflects a person.

A large bay window peeked into the fresh lawn outside and right in the middle of it sat an immense lime beanbag. I would slump easily into it, after a never-ending day of impossible math, to read contently. Of course, the book came from one of the two towering walnut bookcases, glimmering reddish in the irregular rays of sunlight. The room nearly flew to the sky giving the image of an ancient roman cathedral with vaulted ceilings. To the left of the beanbag nook, the king, feather-filled bed protruded like a needle perpendicular to the beige wall. The soft mattress was caringly wrapped in teal and lavender floral sheets. Across the room from the bed, and next to the book shelves, a small but neatly-kept L-desk waited to be used when homework time started. My overly used laptop and practically ancient printer sat on the desk, quietly keeping each other company. The last of the four large walls in my rectangular room held the door to the rest of the house in one corner. My matching walnut armoire occupied the middle of this wall, silently watching and looming over me like a protective giant. On the wall on top of the armoire, my much-appreciated flat screen TV took its place like a prince taking his thrown to become king. This meant there was still an enormous space in the middle of the room. What would I put there? A square, orange and fuzzy rug sheathed the naked oak floor. An eclectic couch made of a mosaic sprinkling of quilts sat on top. Yes that would be the finishing touch……

    Eight Five Narrative

We drove over the tall, intense swells of Lake Pontchartrain on the longest bridge in the United States, to get to our new humble abode in Madisonville, LA. As we pulled into our new subdivision filled with forest, wildlife, and ponds, I began to think of all the new and excited possibilities I had in store for me. My new house was an updated, beige stucco, one story with a bonus room above the garage. The bonus room was my new room; painted light, sky blue with one big window on the wall and the roof going to a point at the top. I had customized my new room to make it fit my outgoing, bright personality with printed pictures of my friends and I and white sparkling Christmas lights on the left wall and my initials in wood on the right wall. The downstairs is spacious with a black tile fireplace in the left hand corner of the living room which ran into the black granite kitchen. There was two bedrooms facing each other with a bathroom in the middle of them on the right side of my house. On the left side of the house was my parents cozy bedroom across from the soft beige carpet stairs leading up to my room. I knew from the point of unloading the boxes that this was a start to a brand new life in the nine eight…

If I were able to build my absolute dream house, there would be one thing that would have to be true: it would be in my original hometown: London, England. Any place would be finding, but this is my dream house. My dream house would be located somewhere on the River upon Thames. There are many areas that are on the banks of the River upon Thames, but my ideal location would be in the Richmond upon Thames district. It is a very quiet and countryside area, but is not seemingly cut-off from the rest of civilization. It is what is referred to as the "metropolitan country side". The entertainment district my house would be near would be the West End shopping district.…

One of the most important details about a house is the location. My house will be located where it is quiet and peaceful. My house will be located on a small private lake, but about two hundred yards off the edge of the lake. The best location for this would have to be in Delaware. Delaware has beautiful lakes with great houses around them. If it would happen to rain a lot, I would want my house to be far enough away that it will not get damaged.…

Soon forgot I the smells of the house, when I saw three gigantic chandeliers and the vast amount of doors all facing into the main hall, all made of willow wood, of which I despised. Carefully walked I towards the many doors attempting not to make any noises so that no-one heard me hear me. I attempted to turn the door knob slowly but surely, 'click click', it didn't budge, 'click click', the retched thing was locked. As I tried the last door on the far right of the main hall. It opened. As I opened the door my mouth dropped in amaze, the wallpapers were a brilliant crimson red mixed with a spectacular saffron yellow and two more beautiful chandeliers dangling from the roof like some glory-cloud above the room's centre. The floor was a brilliant white marble polished so perfectly that I could have mistaken it for a mirror. This room was so well kept it could have been brand new although the rest of the mansion looked crippled and destroyed.…

Way back in preschool, drawing our dream house was a very typical activity. Since we were small back then, we usually draw a square for the body of the house then a triangle for a roof. After that, we add the windows and door then place a few plants, trees and a pathway on the front. But things change. What we used to prefer when we were little will not be the same things we prefer now. The dream house that I used to draw when I was little was way different than what I want now.…

As you walk through the big white wooden door to my one-story house that contains four bedrooms, we have our new brown suede couches. In the front corner there’s a 50” plasma TV rested on a glass TV stand with different types of systems laying on the shelves including a stereo, DVD player, and a cable box. By our brick fireplace there is a really tall 80’s speaker along with another one laying on top of the wall. When you first walk through my door and look straight you there’s the kitchen, most kitchens on my block are rather small including mine. Every twenty minutes a gush of tropical fragrance will shoot out of our Febreeze machine hooked on the wall along with the Frebreeze machine there’s two paintings both nature related hanging on the wall also. While you continue off towards the back of the house through the hallway it’s like walking through a museum full of pictures of my family. My hallway being long kind of reminds of a hospital hallway because its length and with open doors on every side.…
