My first day of CNA training was not a happy nor memorable day for me. But, the class was my first steps into my future career.Even through nursing wasn’t my first career choice I did enjoy the classes and slowly built a passion for it, even if the instructor was a pain in my “ Gluteus Maximus” me and Mrs.Butcher became close friends. I am currently enrolled in Certified Nursing Assistant Training courses at Childersburg travel school. Taking these courses has taught me basic nursing skills. Before I graduate I would like to have a internship or job in the medical field After graduation I plan to extend my knowledge as a CNA by attending Childersburg Community College. After I attain my Associate Degree in Nursing, I will then transfer to Auburn University and enter their BSN program. I will also obtain hands on experience by completing the required hours for this program. As I mentioned earlier I attended CNA Travel School which placed me in a simulated hospital setting. This class allowed me to gain basic medical terminology, Anatomy, and hands on experience with medical equipment such as vital sign . In addition with this class I will obtain clinical experience by volunteering at my local Health and Rehab Center. Through high school i have learned to be responsible, focused and hardworking by joining Educational Talent Search. This program offered academic, career, and financial counseling.
