My Bio Essay
My name is Srishti and I am 14 years old. I am a student in Inlet Grove Community High School in 9th grade. So far, I am doing pretty good in my classes and hope to do the same later on. In the following paragraphs, I am going to talk about my past, present, and future which contains many memories, hopes, and wishes.

To begin with, I was born in New Delhi, India. I was there until the age of 11 and then moved to the United States. I used to live in Orlando, Florida about 2 years ago. My 1st school in the United States was Apollo Elementary for 6th grade. But then I moved to West Palm Beach after ½ year to Bear Lakes Middle. After a year later, I moved again to Palm Beach Gardens. So my next school turned out to be H.L Watkins which is my favorite school so far. That might also be because I actually stayed there for about 2 years before going to high school.

Second, I have tons of hobbies which mostly include reading, watching movies dancing, singing, listening to music. Basically everything that has to do with music is my hobby. Reading is something which really makes English easier for me. That's one of the reasons that my favorite subject is English. I am also a music lover but that doesn't mean that I like chorus. I love the whole music world but it's mainly in my culture/language or a little bit of English, not enough to be in chorus. My least favorite subject would be mathematics. Mathematics would include every concept of numbers. Doing numbers just confuse me which just makes it harder than it really is. Right now, I am in the medical program which is pretty hard, but I can handle it because I am interested in medicine.

Last but not least, I really want the Bright Future scholarship in my near future. I want to earn my way into the best medical college. Possibly: Gainesville, Boston University or London University. I want to become a Gynecologist when I grow up which would need a lot of hard work I am willing to do. I love to help people and I think the medical field would be the best one to do so.

In conclusion, here's my past, present, and future of 14 years in few lines. There have been many complications and simplicity in my life but these are the basic things which have been and are important to me. Going to different schools so many times have been one of the hard things, but I guess you just get through it when the time comes. My hobbies have helped me and I hope they'll keep on helping me go through a lot of lonely times. Finally, dreams of achieving something have encouraged me to be determined to work hard.

    Biopsychosocial Essay 1

A life stage is a period of human development for which the Association of Qualitative Research (2013) states “is assumed to be linked to certain opportunities and constraints and to be significant to certain activities or choices. In addition, it is suggested that different psychological tasks have to be undertaken as the individual matures, and transitions between life stages can be times of crisis.”Likewise, Erikson (About.com Psychology) suggests a theory of development in which people have to perform different tasks and positive social interactions throughout their lifespan to maintain a healthier personality. He suggests 8 life stages (infancy, early childwood, preschool, school age, adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood and maturity) of which young adulthood (19 to 40 years) is manifest by the conflict of intimacy against isolation, accompanied by significant changes in lifestyle and increase of responsibilities. By the same token (emotional and SDHEAH, (2013) infers that Identity, followed by intimacy and generativity are concerns in young adults. Therefore, Jesse Perrault (Psychosocial aspect of health care, P12) suggests that health care providers adopt a model of care that enable them to know their patients and help them to stay healthy, a model that takes lifestyle and psychosocial stresses into account in addition to biological factors because they are important determinants of heath and illness. The following paragraphs will explore the biospychosocial model of care in contrast to the biomedical model, will look at its advantages and critics, the biopsychosocial issues at young adulthood, how the biopsychosocial approach is used into in the ward where the writer was on placement, and the way the writer will exploit this approach in the future.…

I started advanced English and math in fourth grade, and still take advanced classes today. My two favorite subjects are math and science. I love how broad science is and how somehow, everything connects to form the world we live in. My favorite aspect of math is how definite it is. I am able to find ways to solve problems, and apply that method to different types of problems. The combination of science and math interests me, because it mixes a very concrete thing and an always-changing field of study. My two favorite subjects led me to a STEM degree, and I know I want math and science involved with my career.…

The nucleic acid of a virus is protected by a protein coat called the capsid. The structure of the capsid is ultimately determined by the viral nucleic acid and accounts for most of the mass of a virus, especially of small ones. Each capsid is composed of protein subunits called capsomeres. In some viruses, the proteins composing the capsomeres are of a single type; in other viruses, several types of protein may be present. In some viruses, the capsid is covered by an envelope, which…

1 In the essay "A Brother's Murder," Brent Staples writes about his younger brother, Blake, who took a very different path in life than Staples did. 2 The essay starts with a phone call in which Staples learns that Blake has been murdered, shot six times by a former friend (517). The essay goes on to tell about the conditions in which Blake grew up. The neighborhood in which the brothers lived was violent, and young men grew into dangerous adults. Staples recalls a conversation he overheard there between two Vietnam veterans, in which one of them said how much he preferred to fight with young men from the inner city, who wear "their manhood on their sleeves." They weren't afraid to fight, believing that violence proved they were real men (518).…

California Dream When you think of what the California dream is, the amount of dreams is equally colossal to the reasons people attribute a dream to be “Californian”. Many agree a Californian dream to have a few trends: desire for great weather, mobility, access to Hollywood, diversity, free love, and most importantly- housing. Unfortunately, my version of the California dream wasn’t molded by an outside look that’d imagine the gold paved roads of California- but something that has developed beyond my families’ original desires.…

As humans, we are the most dominant species in the world. We have the ability to walk upright, grasping thumbs, and large brains. This helps us to live and be successful on earth. But, these advantages we have didn’t happen overnight, they occurred during the hominine evolution. The skull, neck, spiral column, hip bones, and leg bones of the early hominine species changed shape in ways that later enabled species to walk upright. The evolution of dipedal, or two-footed, locomotion was very important, because it freed both hands to use tools. The hominine hand evolved opposable thumbs that could touch the tips of fingers, enabling the group of objects and the use of tools. Hominine’s evolved much larger brains. Most of the difference in brain size results from an expanded cerebrum, which is, as you recall the “thinking” part of the brain. It’s really extraordinary how humans came to be, it all started from atoms, a strike of lightning and macromolecules. Carbon atoms have four valence electrons allowing them to form strong covalent bonds with many other elements, including hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur, and nitrogen. Living organisms are made up of molecules that consist of carbon and these three other elements. Carbon atoms can also bond to each other, which gives carbon the ability to form millions of different large and complex structures. Many of the organic compounds in living cells are macromolecules or “giant molecules”, made from thousands or even hundreds of thousands of smaller molecules. Most macromolecules are formed by a process known as polymerization, in which large compounds are built by joining smaller ones together. The smaller units, or “monomers”, join together to form polymers. Biochemists sort the macromolecules found in living things into groups based on their chemical composition. The four major macromolecules in all living things are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. Each of these macromolecules has a…
