My Aim in Life
Essay on My Aim in Life
My Aim in Life

There is a proverb that a man without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. A ship without a rudder faces danger. Similarly a man without an aim cannot reach his goal. So, everyone should have a definite aim. Aim of life varies from person to person. It depends upon man's taste and liking. Some want to be doctors, some want to be engineers and some others want to be officers. Like others I also have an aim in life. And my aim in life is to be a teacher.

The first reason in favor of my choice is the belief that a teacher is full of high thoughts and ideals. The second reason in favor of my choice is the belief that there is no end of knowledge and this hunger for knowledge haunts me madly. The third reason in favour of my choice is the belief that it is mother of all professions. In fact, I carefully thought over the matter and lastly chose my future as a teacher.

My aim in life may astonish my parents, friends and relatives. But I strongly believe a good teacher is an asset to the country. He moulds the young minds of the students. He inculcates in them the sense of patriotism, religion, values, morality, social service etc. Only a good teacher can build up good citizens. And good citizens are the prerequisite for overall development of a country.

Sometimes I feel sorry seeing the economic condition of the teachers in our country. Though they are called the architects of the nation, they are not paid well or given due honour in our country. On the other hand, in our neighboring country India, teachers are respected highly and paid well.

In spite of some negative aspects, I think my aim in life is a noble one. Now its fulfillment depends completely on my preparation. If I can prepare myself well, I am sure that I will shine in life with this

There’s never a good time to sit down and think about what I want to accomplish in life. Everyone may have busy lives, and even when we’re not busy, we might just feel more like verging in front of the TV or checking our feeds than thinking about the rest of our lives. And that would make people feel as if they're adrift in the world. They work hard, but they don't seem to get anywhere worthwhile. So why not set your life goal today, if you haven’t yet. Start living your life so that you will eventually get to that…

I have ambitions, but I’m not sure what exactly what I want to accomplish. I feel like in college I will be able to know what I want to do more. I relate a lot to John Keats When I Have Fears That I May Cease to Be and also Chapman’s Homer. I want to accomplish something great, and I didn’t truly appreciate world travel and literature until I took this class. I want my children to appreciate the country we live in, and treat everyone kindly and with respect, no matter their backgrounds and life. Love is the great overcomer, and only with Christ can people be changed. I want my children to have a strong foundation in the Church so they can love one another and change the world. Treating people kindly and with respect can go a long way in changing the world. I want my children to have good educations and I want them to be able to think for themselves. I want to leave a legacy in my family and write and journal my life so when I grow old, I can remember all the great memories and experiences I have had the opportunity to live. I am super excited to see what the future holds, because you can only plan so much. Life can get in the way, but I hope to accomplish these things before I…
