Imagine turning on the television and hearing that you’re beloved president has been shot and killed. A president that touched the lives of millions no matter what race or color. A president that truly wanted peace throughout the country. If so then you probably get the same feeling that the people in the book, Tragedy of Macbeth, got when their beloved king, King Duncan, was assassinated. Unfortunately this was the case in America on the date November 22nd, 1963 with President John F. Kennedy. By the fall of 1963 John F. Kennedy was pretty confident that he was going to win the presidential race and be reelected. So John F. Bullets struck the presidents head and neck while blood splattered all over Mrs. Kennedy. The president was quickly rushed to the hospital for medical treatment, but it was too late. The president was pronounced dead a couple of minutes after arriving at the hospital. The president's body was brought to Love Field and by Air Force One. While in the cramped airplane Lyndon B. Johnson took the oath of office, which was administered by United States District Court Judge Sarah Hughes. Police eventually found and arrested the assassin which was Lee Harvey Oswald who actually worked at the Texas School Bank Depository. He was being accounted for the death President Kennedy and the fatal shooting, while on the run for police that same day of Patrolman J. D. Tippit. On a Sunday morning, or the date November 24, Oswald was scheduled to be transferred from police headquarters to the county jail. While on live television viewers across America suddenly saw a man aim a gun and fire at point blank range at Oswald. The assassin was Jack Ruby, who was actually a local nightclub owner. When caught he was found to have $2,000 on him and another $1,000 in his car. Oswald eventually died two hours later at the Parkland
