Discuss the changing nature and the contemporary trends in human resource management.
The changing nature in human resources is based on scientific management which is breaking down jobs into elemental activities and simplifying job design. Comprise a set of tasks, elements and job motions which are basic physical movements. In a piece-rate wage system, pay is based on output. Assembly-line, production meshed with principles of scientific management. Task and advantage of specialization, which: is the high output, low costs and minimal training. Disadvantage of task specialization: is boredom, lack of motivation, and physical and mental fatigue. Motivation and improving motivation of employees, which are positive reinforcement, effective organization and discipline, design of jobs to fit employees, rewards based on company as well as employee’s performance, and much more. This encourages employees to work harder at their task and be more efficient in their duties, which at the end benefit the company.
The contemporary trends in human resource management includes, Job training, extensive and varied two of Deming’s 14 points refer to employee education and training. Cross training an employee learns more than one job. Job rotation: horizontal movement between two or more jobs according to a plan. Empowerment: is giving employees the opportunity to work on problems in their immediate work area. Team: This is a group of employees that work on problems in their immediate work area.

Describe the elements of project management, project planning, project scheduling, and project control.
Project management is the process of planning, scheduling and controlling projects. Several factors have led to increasing emphasis on efficient project management. Increasing global competition has led to compressed product lifecycles. Businesses are dealing with shorter "time to market" product development scenarios. Shared information networks and increased customer focus has
