Analysis of PRIZM NE
There are many tools that companies and businesses use to not only find their target market but also to find target locations to place their businesses. Part of figuring that out is to know the type of people that live in the area you are looking at putting the business. For example in Green Cove Springs Florida you are not going to find any high fashion or high end motor vehicle businesses like Rolls Royce or Mercedes Benz. What you will find is a lot of middle class and working class shopping centers as well as used car dealers. There is also a lot of big whole sale shopping centers and big saving places such as family mart and Wal-Mart. Those are the type of businesses that flourish in areas such as the one that I lived in last before coming to Thailand.

The first category that is used to explain the zip code I put in is bedrock America. The website explains that this category consists of families economically challenged living in small, isolated towns. Many of the people have very modest education, sprawling families and service jobs. These conditions of modest education, large families and isolated small towns make for a struggle for most of these families to make ends meet. One quarter lives in mobile homes and one in three have not graduated from high school. Rich in scenery bedrock America is great for hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. The second one on the list was big fish, small pond, this classifies the older, upper class and college educated leading citizen of their small towns who get to enjoy the benefits of being crème of the crop. The next one is crossroad villagers which are classic rural life high school educated, downscale income modest housing and living. The next is fast track family’s

Procedure: In this lab we mixed many different substances to see if they formed a double replacement reaction. We also looked for precipitants that were formed from the mixing of the different substances. We used barium nitrate, potassium hydroxide, sodium sulfate, magnesium nitrate, aluminum sulfate, and iron (III) chloride in set one. In set two we used potassium chloride, sodium hydroxide, magnesium nitrate, barium chloride, sodium sulfate, and magnesium sulfate. For each set, we mixed two drops of one compound in five wells of a spot plate. We then added two drops of all the other substances to the compound. We repeated this procedure for set two. If a precipitant formed from any solution, we recorded the color on our data table. If no precipitant formed, we recorded NR. After mixing and recording all the compounds we rinsed to spot plate thoroughly with water.…

A business must decide if it wants to expand. To be able to expand, a business must first gain enough custom and income so they can afford to open new stores and headquarters. They also need to be able to keep these new premises open and gaining money. It would be no use to put a store into an area which is maybe deprived and a low potential customer rate as they won’t gain enough profit, therefore having to close.…

The community that was observed is that of South Cheyenne. This area has the most diversity within the city limits. South Cheyenne has an unfounded image of being the slums, poverty side of town, Northside/Southside division, reputation. South Greeley Highway does not present a positive image for the community. The amount of junkyards, garbage, and abandon buildings create an “eye sore” presenting an uninviting appearance. This area has multiple trailer parks that are rundown and there is a sense of some lack of pride in ownership for both homes and businesses. There is one grocery store, a half dozen of food establishments, ranging from fast food to dining in. A few liquor stores, several bars, an elementary and high school.…

Suburbia continues to be vital in representing American living standards today. Throughout the 1930s, and 40s, the common young American man was either striving to protect his family during the economic tornado of the Great Depression, or was fighting for his country at war. During this period in America, the middle class was largely comprised of industrial workers, and unemployed men that were low on America’s economic food chain. Middle class living standards usually were in crammed apartments in the city, and wages were so low that many Americans struggled to survive the harship brought on by the Great Depression. However, thanks to a booming post-war wartime economy, the American worker was able to afford housing, cars, and other appliances…

Someone say that marketing in emerging market is all about tapping into the most affluent tier of customers in emerging-market-cities such as Shanghai, Rio de Janerio and it can lead to the success of the whole company in the development in emerging markets. However, this idea is unjustifiable and the marketing should also focus on lower tier cities such as Tianjin, Hanoi and Ahmedabad. Three reasons with diverse real life examples will be given to explain why it is also significant to have marketing in lower tier cities and to target the lower customer segments. They will be discussed in the following paragraphs in the perspective of market size and growth, level of competition as well as customer needs.…
