Movie High School
I was a smarty pants in kindergarten and I didn't even know that at that time. I was a small kid at the time and I didn't know what my mom was doing when I went into another class in the middle of the school year. I was excited, scared, and also sad that I was going to leave all of my friends. This event in my life did change my life forever because, I am able to go to college early and graduate high school early so that I have more time to figure out what I am going to do with my life. Also I am going to be able to start a career early, and start growing up but I will have one extra year in my life. I know that I am young but I have my mind set on an amazing goal and if I work hard just like I did in kindergarten I can achieve this so I can move up in life and intellectually.
I started school at Antelope Elementary, and my teacher's name was Ms. Love, she was one of the best teachers ever! She was so nice and kind to everyone. Ms. Love got married at the beginning of the year and so she had changed her name to Mrs. Wright. I was confused after this and she got mad at everyone that called her Ms. Love because that was not her name anymore. I didn't like her as much after she was married, but then, a month into kindergarten we took a pretest, I am not sure what it was on but I knew everything. Know I thought of how easy school would be and now thinking of this school is pretty easy because I am smart! I was only about six at the time of this and I had no idea what was happening. We went into the principal’s office and she was really nice. I took another test. I passed this test to with one hundred percent! The next day I wasn't in my class anymore. I was in the first grade! My teacher's name was Mrs. Collingwood and to this day she is my favorite teacher because she was so welcoming and loving to everyone. I went into my class and I noticed that the first graders are so intimidating I thought. They were taller and smarter and I didn’t know what to do or how to

The first day of of seventh grade and my first year of Junior High was easier they I could of imagined and the teachers were truly great at their jobs. For the first semester I took the normal year round classes of social studies, english, physical education, math, and science along with the relationships/fashion and computer apps classes. For social studies my teacher was Mrs. Tool, she was always enthusiastic about teaching her class and good at it too though she could get scary when she was mad. Mrs. Tool taught us about different religions, what was going on in the world, and what the first civilizations were like. My teacher in english was Mrs. Brown, she was always nice to her classes but most of the students were never respectful towards her. She taught us about grammar, root words, and story configuration. Mrs. Bosley was our math teacher she always fair and taught the best she could even when the students were rude. In her class she let us spin a wheel for a prize whenever we got a bellringer question…

In grade 6 I went to a great school called David Leeder Middle School. Even though none of my friends from grade 5 were in my class, I had an amazing year. All of my teachers were fabulous except for one. My math and science teacher was the worst teacher I had ever had. I remember that she would always yell at us for asking her questions about our work. In grade 7, I was also in David Leeder, but this was the best year I had ever had in my life. Every single teacher of mine were very good and they taught everything very thoroughly. Also, I made a lot of friends during this year. Academically I had the best year and I took part in extra curriculars such as soccer and volleyball. During these two years I went to Pakistan, I went to New York…

Firstly, I began missing school a lot starting in October. I missed 20 days throughout the fall semester of junior year alone. I had lots of homework o make up due to all of my absences and Mrs. Henrey was very helpful in helping me succeed with the homework I missed. Mrs. Henrey went out of her way to help me. She would have me come into her classroom during lunch so that I would not have to sit in the cafeteria, which was very loud, to help me concentrate on homework. She also tried to help me understand what I was missing even if it was a class she was not teaching. Mrs. Henrey was an English teacher and she would repeatedly try and me with other classes such as Calculus and Childhood Development even though that was not her field of expertise. She was very helpful in keeping…

But I must of realized because I feel tears running down my face. The phone shakes out of my hand as i tremble. I just cry for a while. I don't know how to reply. I don't know what there is to say. I feel rejected, hurt, stupid. I care to much that is my weekness I care to much about people who don't give a shit about me. I am mad but not for long I'm mad at myself for thinking I could of ever of had a best-friend. I allways seem to be closer to someone then they are too me. Somedays I stay silent just to see if there is anyone who cares enough to ask why. I just feel so alone right now and I don't know if anyone cares or not. You say you care but where is the proof You say you care Is that really the truth. I wonder if you remember me in ten years because I know I will remember you. Tell me is this fair. I allways wondered why you chose me when you are wonderful enough to have anyone you want. Trying to figure out what I ever did wrong for you to be okay to lose me.At least now I know that I care too much.As one of the many quotes on Tumblr says "I will be ok. Just not today."…

High school in real life is full of surprises, but according to David Denby in his article "High School Confidential," High School in the movies is very predictable. The typical Hollywood "High School Scene" opens with the jock and the cheerleader characters. Blonde and buff, the Jock and the Cheerleader are superficial and proud to proclaim it. They are popular and perky, and always too good to be true. The cheerleader is usually the enemy of the hero or heroine. She is generally rich, blonde, and queen bee of the social circle, with no sense of selflessness. The jock is usually the bully, muscular, good looking and not very smart.(Denby 343) In an essence, the male counterpart of the cheerleader. The Jock and the Cheerleader are almost always the doppleganger of the hero and heroine. The jock and cheerleader stand for everything the hero despises, yet seemingly have everything that the hero is aiming for.…

“Take away my good name, take away my life” This is a quote that I’m sure everyone in this room can probably relate to. We all remember our high school days, we wanted everyone to know our name. We wanted popularity and our reputation meant the world to us. What we do and how we act reflects directly on our name. For Shea Simmons what happened to her name was not her fault. Shea spent countless hours practicing and working on Mock Trial, working towards getting the scholarship from the Metropolitan Bar Foundation. Everything seemed perfect and at the end of the finals-they had won! However, all that came crashing down a few days later. Because of one childish blog post, a coach with a thirst for winning, and a jealous teenager Shea’s dreams…

While I was waiting, I looked around, and from the window, the sky became darker and darker as the cloud covered the last sunlight. I couldn’t breathe. In about twenty minutes, most parents were there. Then the head teacher started to talk about how seriously we did. She told in front of all these people: “she was the one who cheated teachers and brought her friends out of school. We teachers are responsible for your children’s safety in the school. But who is responsible for that once they are out? Jasmine, can you?” I was shocked. I did not think about that the teacher would blame me for all of this. Everyone in the office was staring at me, and my parents as well. I was ashamed, so ashamed that I wanted to hide, and I can’t stop my tears out. The teacher continued and talked to all of students: “I believed you because you are fifth grade. I thought you are old enough to distinguish right or wrong. But now, I am really disappointed at you guys.” We were still in elementary school, and we were so young to comfort ourselves in this situation. Most of the girls in our group began to sob like me.…

Sixth grade, the first year in the new middle school building. It was about the third week into school and a teacher came up to me and asked me to watch over this kid named Justin. (He was different from everyone else, he had a birth-defect.) I said sure, why not, he seems to be nice. He only had one friend, and that one friend I wouldn't say was a good one. Later that week I was called into the disciplinarian's office, her name was Mrs. Landry. She was the seventh grade Social Studies teacher. So wanted me to tell her everything that happened, I didn't what to tell her,…

As I was getting dropped off and hearing my mom telling me bye I started to cry. Being really close to my mom I didn't want her to leave me there all alone. So we walked in together and she told me that I was going to be all right. My mom and my new teacher, Mrs. Fossum were having a hard time getting me to stay there. After they saw that I wouldn't stay, my mom had to stay there with me thru out that whole day. As the first day went on I was making a bunch of friends with my new classmates. When the second day came I wanted my mom to stay at school but I realized that she had to go to work. After she had left I saw a table that had some crayons and some paper on it, so I ventured over to it and stood by the seat watching to see if anyone was going to stop me from drawing. No one came so I took a seat, a piece of paper, and of course a blue coloring pencil just like the one I had at home and started to draw. When the other children saw that I was already hard at work with my drawing, which somewhat looked like a cow, they came and sat down with me. Even the child that didn’t want to leave his father noticed me and…

It was the middle of the school year, and I had just moved into Duluth. I was begging my mother to put me back into public school. At the time I was being home-schooled but I hated it. So one day, my mom told me "since you want to go to public school so bad, I'll let you go soon." I was happy! I could finally make some new friends and go somewhere I wanted to go. Few days later, we went into the school I will be attending called Northview High School. We went to go get interviewed, but the lady that interviewed us was very rude. She was not hopeful or even encouraging. She told me and my mom that I was going to fail all my courses and will have to wait til the end of the school year. Basically, she wanted to hold me back. Who would have known how right she was. In the end, it worked out and I was able to attend Northview.…

I wanted somebody to talk to besides my sister. We both wanted a new friend. Two days pasted and my sister met a girl who was ok but I didn’t really get along with her. So for lunch I just walked all around school until the bell rang for 4th period. One day in first period, Mrs. Shieh (my teacher) told the class to get into groups of three. While I was looking for a group everybody else got into their groups. I was walking around the class and seeing who didn’t had a third person. The someone reached over and poked me saying if I wanted to be in her group. I said “yes, thank you.” In that group there was three girls including me. But one of the two girls was really nice and friendly to me. When classed ended I forgot to ask what was her name.…
