Movie "Forest Gump"
Movie „Forrest Gump”
I've never met anyone like Forrest Gump in a movie before, thats why i decided that it will be great theme to write about my essay.
When Forest was a kid he felt in love with Jenny who moved to hes city. This love changed Forest life for 180 degrees, because it was the main driving force for hes future adventures and accomplishments.
"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.” – said Forests mother when he was a little boy. He was a kid who couldn’t even meet the minimum requirements for a public education but between the 1950s and the 1980s he managed to become involved in every major event in American history. And he survives them all with hes honesty and good heart as his shields. He happen to be a college football star, war hero, ping-pong professional, seafood tycoon, an original investor in Apple, he even ran across the country multiple times and teached Elvis to dance.
I have thought about reasons and encouragements what made Forest act like he did. I came to opinion that the major role in hes life played hes love from child foot - Jenny. We all have a Jenny in our lives, probably multiple Jennys. Someone who cares about you and who you care about too. Some of mine would be my friends who have been with me for years and family like my brothers, sister, cousins, nieces, nephews, parents, grandparents and so on. I know that these people play a great part in my life as Jenny’s did Forest’s and without them i would not be the person that i am now.
"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."- that was the sentence which Forest mentioned in the film and it is also my favorite one, because in life you never know what's coming and there's no way to prepare for it. If you have a box of chocolates then you will most definitely get chocolates. But you don't know which type and that's the mystery of life, you never know what you're gonna get. There are set rules of nature and nothing

In the essay “Good Oak” in part one of A Sand County Almanac, Leopold is supplied with wood from an oak tree to warm himself on the cold winter days and nights. One night the Oak is struck by a bolt of lightning and it is decided by Leopold and other woodsmen to remove the damaged tree. As Leopold and the other men cut through the tree they witness the same history experienced by the Oak. They cut through the rings and go backwards into time. Each ring represents one year the tree stood tall. I choose this essay not because of a personal experience, but because the essay inspired me. While I was reading the many essays throughout the book this one always stuck in the back of my mind. I responded well to this essay because of the way Leopold…

The protagonist in the story, Stephen is a very dynamic character, as he learns much from his father and Leka while working in the pulp woods. In the beginning of the story, Stephen is unsure about who he wants to be. He tries to be like his father, endlessly felling trees, but is unable to leave his "childish" ideals and values, such as his "fascination with tales of far places." He learns to try and follow his own ideas and beliefs from Leka, who is different from the other men, but in the end decides to become like his father after seeing how he would be viewed in society, and by his father- "Them Wops and Bohunks and Polacks has got funny ideas. They ain't our kinda people. You gotta watch them."…

The chapter title, “A Forest Walk”, has the word walk in it to symbolize the importance of the chapter to the author’s purpose. The text specifically states about the forest, “to Hester’s mind, it imaged not amiss the moral wilderness in which she had so long been wandering”. This forest is a physical example of Hester and Dimmesdale’s sin. The forest admitted nearly no light because Dimmesdale was in other words, consumed by his transgressions, and could not escape them. However, there was a small amount of light entering the forest, which is the little bit of hope and courage that Dimmesdale has to confess his adultery to the people and free himself of his internal pain. Again, the forest is an example of the clergyman’s slim chances of breaking out of his emotional trauma.…

I choose Forrest Gump as a historical movie. The movie was about a young man with a mental disability that goes through this major event in the 1960 – 1970s not only that but it was kind of romantic. Though out the entire movie, Forrest seems to be going along with the time line in his life looking for his first true love Jenny. Mean while she is living it out as a hippie tagging along with the wrong crowd and as for Forrest he maintains hope that one day she will love him. Not only that but the events that he lived in leads him to become a war hero and a billionaire. In the end he realize that life keeps on going as a “destiny or floating alike a breeze”.…

Most people enjoy the memorable catch phrases and the flash from the past journey it takes through the twentieth century. The movie "Finding Forrester" was a good, quality movie with a great theme and moral. In this movie Jamal, an African American basketball player and student, meets a famous old writer named William Forrester through a dare. Forrester has a big problem of his own though. He will not leave the premises of his own little apartment. Jamal actually gets him to leave for William's birthday and Forrester ends up having a good time. Jamal eventually wakes up something in Forrester that makes him decide he needs to get out and go see his family. Along with the story line of them helping each other it touches a little bit on race. I have hunted this forest from the day I came of age. My father hunted this forest with me, and before me. Jaguar Paw, my son. He hunts this forest with me. He will hunt it with his son, after I am gone." Shows that for generations the cycle of life will continue and no matter what comes in the way, son after son will hunt the forests with pride. The language used creates an empathic response to the audience, as they are about to read what is being said while watching the determined expression and defiant and powerful stance of the tribe leader as he says…

In Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, life is centered around a rigid Puritan society. In this society, people are not allowed to express their true thoughts and feelings. Every human being needs the opportunity to express how they truly feel; otherwise the emotions become bottled up until they begin to hurt the person. Unfortunately, the puritans were not allowed this type of expression. Luckily, at least for the four main characters, Hawthorne has created a forest to give them shelter. The forest offers a sanctuary from the harshness of Puritan life, symbolizes the character of Pearl and represents evil.…
