MOTIVATION, STRESS AND COMMUNICATION 2
Abstract
I would like to share with readers my perspective on motivation, stress and communication, at a high-end luxury goods designer company better known as Louis Vuitton. I will share different avenues I can take as an employee to build motivation and set specific goals after I accept the position. Day to day task can become very stressful for an employee. When an employee is stressed out on the job it can lead to a very painful environment for the individual and for the company. It can/will cause employees to be less motivated and have a lack of morale. In this paper I will also share with readers, different ways to deal with non-verbal and cultural barriers to communication. Non-verbal and cultural barriers to communication are factors that must be had if a company wants to maintain the satisfaction of their employees. It is also beneficial to maintain motivation amongst employees. Motivation causes certain behavior from employees, according to (Hellriegel, Slocum 2011). For satisfaction and motivation work hand in hand when it comes to keeping employees happy. This will ultimately be one of the major attributes to any business in becoming very profitable in a long run. It also helps everyone in the company stay focused on the vision.
Position I Would Like to Fill at Louis Vuitton I would gain great pleasure by filling the position at Louis Vuitton of Merchandising Manager of Windows in New York, according to Mitchell (2012). I will collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Director and the Visual Merchandising Manager of Windows. I will ensure that the Window strategy and standards are well implemented throughout the Louis Vuitton North America (LVNA) network. I will review the window order booklet and render all Network windows for precise window kit ordering for all schemes and communicate this order to our Central Paris team.
