Grace barks in agreement. Morris kisses Grace.
MORRIS (CONT’D)

He kisses her multiple times. Grace barks. Pat is heard in the b.g. talking to another person. Dr. Nettle barges into the room.
DR. NETTLE
Get that dog out, now!
Grace whimpers. Morris hugs her tightly.
MORRIS
No, she can’t leave me.
DR. NETTLE
She has to go.
MORRIS

Winston Churchill turns and walks down the road. We hear the clinking of his shoes against the gravel road, and the street lights up as he walks. Notable masters appear on the side of the street working on their own failed projects in their own world.
Noteable masters includes: JACKIE ROBINSON, 28, he’s up at bat. A ball comes his way but he strikes out.
THOMAS EDISON, 32, sits in front of a light bulb. The light bulb explodes. His hair sticks up, and he has black circles around his eyes.
AMELIA EARHART, 33, her plane is on the ground with its propellers spinning. But it won’t lift.
Next to Amelia is a DRAWING MAN, sitting in a chair with his back to us as he draws a portrait.
Sitting next to the Drawing Man, is the ICE MAN, he runs with his back to us in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. A mountain of snow is in the backdrop.
SINGING GIRL, stands next to Ice Man. She has her back to us. Stands with the microphone in her hand, down by her side.

Younger Morris sits in a cubicle with determination in his eyes. He types on the typewriter while talking on the phone.
DOUG (V.O.)
He worked his butt off at the insurance company for a year and when it came time for a promotion.
HALLWAY
Younger Morris grabs the door knob, slowly twisting it.
EXECUTIVE BOARD ROOM
Seated at a large wooden table are older, white-haired executives dressed in suits and ties. They stare at Younger Morris.
DOUG (V.O.)
He was chosen.
Door slams shut behind Younger Morris.
FADE TO BLACK
END FLASHBACK.
INT. REHABILITATION CENTER BEDROOM - NIGHT
DOUG
To my knowledge, it’s known that the next year the kid got promoted, joined the millionaire round table and received this award for being the number one top insurance agent in the country.
Doug hands the award to Morris. Morris cannot see whom the trophy belongs to.
DOUG
