Moral Vs Survival
Does Survival affect Moral? Survival… the thing many people strive to get when a situation becomes too extreme. What is an extreme situation; however, that would get people like this? When survival is thrown in a picture it is not surprising to see changes in people. These changes can be good or bad. In my opinion these changes are usually good. In a situation where your life is on the line it is very likely that great leadership will emerge. In my opinion survival does not affect ones moral for the following reasons: If they are strong leaders, stays true to themselves, and puts others before themselves. First, moral is not affected if a person is a strong leader. Strong leaders tend to take things into their own hands. Many will say that this is because the situation is desperate and they are acting out of instinct. They’ll also say that these so called “leaders” want attention. If a leader is of pure heart then he will not do it out of desperation. Also if a leader is determined to lead others with them to survival, attention will not be a factor of the motive. At the end of the day a leader is a leader. Second, by staying true to themselves people’s morals cannot be affected. People who stay true to themselves focus on goals that keep them from being desperate. Others will comment that they’re just “showing off.” People could state that these individuals are arrogant. By staying true to themselves people can be disciplined in knowing right from wrong. By doing that they contribute survival to others and remain humble at that. Staying true to one’s self can be beneficial in the long run. Last,, moral can’t be corrupted if one puts others before their selves. If one puts others before their self, survival can come even quicker. A person might imply that they’re just trying to look good.
