Moonbreeze Book Report
I've finished reading this book for quite sometime now, and I had this review set in my Note since. The reason I waited this long to post it, was because this book was rather difficult to review, mainly due to it had involved a sensitive topic. A controversy topic that if not threaded careful, may backfire easily. But since I had lot feelings after reading this book, I decided to post it after all.
I want to be clear that in no way I blamed Elena for what happened in this book (Part II of the book). I would never blame the victim, ever. With that being say, let’s get back to my review. Yes, she ran away! I didn't understand why she didn't called for help. At her position, and situation, I couldn't understand her action, she run away instead of taking her responsibility. Also, I thought it was odd that she was never inform how "Bent" initial. And that's also where everything went wrong in this book, and for Elena. Elena had to go through really really horrible and henius situation in Moonbreeze. Which I still trying to figure it out how far she was managed to “ran”, when she was not even in the state of right …show more content…
And how she managed she ended up where she was really didn't make sense to me either. It have to pretty far out right? And she was on foot.
Elena's personality have to evolve nor did she grow since book 1. She is angry all the time, while she has every right to be after what happened.
I really really like Blake, and I really wished the second part of the book was all in his POVs. Lot of things become clear, the "Dent” theory was actually pretty interesting, but what I don’t get was why don’t the dragon tells their rider about it. It would certainly clear things up, and the dragon and their rider can keep them as secret as a oal.
Elena remain to be insecure, what happened to her in this book only made it much much worse. She doubt about Blake, she never give him a chance, yes Blake was horrible to her, but Elena also has quite a temper as well.
What happened to Elena was really hard to read, thankfully the book did not went into detail. I only wished it didn't haven to happened at all. I never like to read this type of situation, and I was really afraid it would ruined the book for
