MOBILE PHONE MAST

MOBILE PHONE MAST :
Mobile phone masts help phone companies build stronger, more reliable signals. They can be on private property with the consent of the property owner. Though numerous debates have broken out over their possible health risks, no hard data has proved that there are adverse effects to locating one on your property. Keeping a phone mast on your property may come with a few benefits, both to you and nearby cell phone subscribers.
A mast is a freestanding structure which supports antennas at a height where they can transmit and receive radio waves . When you make a call, your mobile phone transmits a signal to the nearest base station, the signal is then transmitted through mobile and fixed line networks to connect to the person receiving the call.

RAINFALL PATTERNS Signals from mobile phone masts have been used in many studies to measure rainfall patterns. Studies done in the Middle East and Europe have shown that rainfall patterns are more accurately measured using cell phone signals than by using current meteorological methods. The basis of the study is that the electromagnetic fields produced by the masts are considerably weakened by certain types of weather, particularly rain. The amount of reduction in the signal indicated the amount of rainfall that had occurred. When compared with the more traditional methods all readings closely resembled each other, with the mast technique being most accurate.

You walk along the street, how many people do you see using their mobile phone? Texting? Talking? You see a mate in the street and you start talking to him, but he is only half listening because he is on his mobile phone. People use mobile phones now to tell things to others that should be said face to face; e.g.: break ups. People have to stand up to reality. The real question is now, has the blessing of a mobile phone turned society upside down?…
