Mission Statement Nine Components.
1. Customers-Who are the firm’s customers?
2. Products or services-What are the firm’s major products or services?
3. Markets-Geographically, where does the firm compete?
4. Technology-Is the firm technologically current?
5. Concern for survival, growth, and profitability-Is the firm committed to growth and financial soundness?
6. Philosophy –What are the basic beliefs, values aspirations, and ethical priorities of the firm?
7. Self-concept-What is the firm’s distinctive competence or major competitive advantage?
8. Concern for public image-Is the firm responsive to social, community and environmental concerns?
9. Concern for employees-Are employees a valuable asset of the firm?
McDonald’s Mission Statement Nine Components:
1. Customers
McDonald targets all sort of customers including young and old, man and woman, rich and poor, business people, students, travelers, etc.

2. Products or Services
McDonald focus on fast foods and relevant services which include variety of Hamburgers, chicken burgers, and fish burgers, happy meals, variety of breakfast, and many kinds of drink such as pops, coffee, and ice cream. Customer can order at the counter or by drive-through. Playground maybe provided for little kids.

3. Markets
McDonald targets both domestic and international markets. To keep business growing and gain profit as much as possible, McDonald needs to do business worldwide.

4. Technology
Advanced technologies are necessary tools to help and improve business. McDonald's was the first quick-service chain to install touch-screen computers at the front counter and in the drive-through. It improved the efficiency of food ordering. McDonald also provides free internet access in many its restaurants. This certainly brings a great deal of convenience to business people and young people who cannot live without computer & internet.
