Men and women should be considered equal, but aren’t. In reality a man will always do better physically most women just don’t have enough strength. Women are right up there in jobs right along side a man and doing just as good a job, so why would a woman venture into a job such as the military when she knows she doesn’t belong there? For as long as the military has existed there has only been a draft of men, and should stay that way for many different reasons. The military has the system that way for a specific reason and should remain that way forever. Being drafted into the military is not a person volunteering, it is the military choosing a number and he/she must come no matter what. Drafting should be looked at as a whole and should not be taken lightly. Women should be told it isn’t right for them, and tell them to try another job. There are many good reasons why this job isn’t cut out for women, and they should be enforced.
First, a woman should not be drafted into the military because women are not built to lift and carry heavy materials. For me being a very skinny woman I could not even begin to imagine how heavy all the equipment would be. I have had many of my male friends go off to the military and write and say how heavy all the equipment was. Not only do soldiers carry equipment on their backs they also carry a gun and all that weight together is a whole lot. Also, each morning soldiers must get up and go through lots of physical training. Most women would not be up to that challenge because a man can endure a lot more exercise at a time than a woman. Not to say that every woman would fall short next to a man, but in my experience my boyfriend can workout for longer than I can because his body is stronger than mine. Women should be thinking about how much they can handle before even dreaming about wanting to be drafted.
Second, women should not be drafted into the military is because it has been this way for
