Midterm Test
My midterm grades are very mixed because they both have very different grades. For example, I am very proud of my math midterm grade. My midterm grade is eighty-eight out of one hundred. In the test I got seventy one out of eighty which is still pretty good. I was very focused in my math because unlike my roommates I do the requirement of the Alex homework. I do the full five to eight hours and do the necessary percentage for the Alex. I stay on task with my math and when it was close to midterm so I studied a lot before the midterm. I am very good I math so for me it’s pretty easy but I still studied. I also try my best to advise the teacher that I won’t be available for the midterm so I told him beforehand that if I could the midterm before or after. Some …show more content…
In my test I get bad scores and in my midterm, I got a 6 out of 10. I would spend a lot of time in studying for chemistry for the past week before the midterm but I still got a bad grade. Whatever I am doing is not working but I have a hard time understanding what to learn and what the question is asking. I did some practice set that was recommended for the chemistry but I still have a hard time understanding or remembering the problem. I had a choice whether to study for the test or hang out with my friend I chose to study some more and I felt that was a good choice but after the midterm it wouldn’t have made a difference. My last chance now is to go to a tutor but I feel real nervous when talking to them. I need to focus more on chemistry than in math because chemistry doesn’t seem to slow down. What I need to know now is where to go to find a tutor for chemistry and what is the best way for me to study. I need to make friends in chemistry because I have none to help me since I am not very social. I want to go to office hours but I don’t know what to talk about to help me improve. I understand what it tells me but my question is how. I need to focus more in chemistry now and try to find someone to help

Declaratory Act-In 1766, the English Parliament repealed the Stamp Act and at the same time signed the Declaratory Act. This document stated that Parliament had the right "to bind" the colonies "in all cases whatsoever." It is important in history because it stopped the violence and rebellions against the tax on stamps. Also, it restarted trade with England, which had temporarily stopped as a defiant reaction to the Stamp Act.…

Some could say that what contributed to the rapid spread of Islam are their Muslim leader and his god Allah. Socially Muhammad contributed by spreading his visions and new religious beliefs. As he became more known people started to accept his beliefs and visions. Which would later help build an army for the Islamic people to fight for the name of Allah. This also didn’t help either though as he began to gain enemies who weren’t very fond of beliefs. Thus leading him to leaving to go to Medina known as the hijra. Were he ultimately becomes the leader of Medina were the people are more of a receptive audience and this is where his followers becomes very populated. Politically Islam had the upper hand, Byzantine and Persia having been exhausted by the protracted conflicts made them both vulnerable. As Muhammad taken over lands from Byzantine and Persia he began to take in more people, growing his army, society, and religious beliefs.…

    - By preparing for my Midterm Proctored Exam, I would study my notes daily. Every day I would try to do a quiz after I study a chapter or two chapters to boost my knowledge. I would also, print off some extra notes and diagrams off the internet or from the PowerPoints that thought would be useful for me to memorize everything that I needed to know. During the three days before the exam, I started to go by the midterm study guide and highlighted in my notes strictly everything that was going to be on the test. Then, I would just study over everything until I feel I am truly ready for the test and then pray for the best.…

The first step is Historical Evidence. Evidentialists tend to resort to historical evidence as a very important method (i.e. the resurrection). The reason historical evidences are so important is because, as long as minimal facts (those agreed upon by all) are used, the audience cannot deny the conclusion of the premise. Historical evidence allows for a one-step process for converting one to Christianity. Historical evidences have a lot of credibility.…

As a student, grades are very important to me. I have never failed a class, and I always strive to earn an A. I always try to do my best. In all honesty, I don’t like school much. My favorite class so far this year has to be either French or ACT. A few of my academic strengths are that I’m a great listener, I don’t like to waste time when I could be getting work done, and I check my work a lot to make sure it is correct or near correct. My academic weaknesses are that I won’t ask questions if I need help and most of the time the topics don’t interest me. I like figuring problems out on my own because I learn better that way, but it can be a bad thing if I really don’t understand the problem at all. In those cases, I don’t know where to start fixing my problem.…

Everyone wants good grades throughout their years in school, mainly in high school. I am more of a math and science person, other subjects like history and government. Topics like politics, the constitution, the United States Government, political parties and anything else having to do with Government class I had no interest in when I signed up for classes. I know this is something that I should be keeping up to date on because of the upcoming election and everything that changes with the government. The spring of my sophomore year I was looking for different classes to take, I saw AP Government. I thought I could do well in that class, I was motivated to learn something new and excel at something I was not very interested in. The first day of junior year came quickly. Then the first AP government test came even quicker. I studied the night before for hours thinking positive thoughts and finding funny ways to remember different answers. Going into the test I thought I was ready, but when I saw the test I froze. Thinking different thoughts like “When did we learn this?” or “Why did I take this class?”. I pushed all the negative thoughts to the side and completed the test to the best of my ability. The day we got our test back I looked down and about cried. I had never done that bad on a test.…
