What are the main environmental drivers for this business? Is

Frogbox operating in an attractive industry with a low level of competitive rivalry?
(10 marks) FrogBox is a residential moving company that was established to fill a need for a costeffective, convenient and environmentally friendly alternative to cardboard moving boxes. The company manufactures and distributes reusable plastic boxes with interlocking lids, reusable plastic wardrobe boxes, recyclable packing paper and moving dollies (Bigus,
2013). This allows moving between different locations to be convenient and affordable for customers while minimizing the negative impact on the environment (Lawrimore, 2013). The main macroenvironmental driver for FrogBox would be the low degree of rivalry in the moving and removal industry. In addition, the homogeneous and constant demand for residential moving also drives the business. Customers are constantly seeking to move between residential locations and FrogBox fulfils the need of this sustainable market segment. With limited competition and moving alternatives, FrogBox is able to limit buyer power and dictate favourable terms on purchase agreements that would have been available to competitors in the same industry (Carpenter et al., 2010). The need for a ‘green’ alternative to cardboard
