Memorable Day of My Life: My First Day at School
Memorable day of my life
Life is full of various Events and experiences. But all of these are not equally important, enjoyable and memorable. There are some memorable days and they remain evergreen in my heart. My first day at school is such a day.

It was the month of August, 2004. I was then only five years old. My father told that I should be admitted into a school in class one the next day. I felt very excited. I could not think of anything else. I was always thinking about the school and the teachers. I could not even sleep well that night. The next morning my mother woke me early in the morning. She washed me very well, combed my hair and dressed in new clothes. Then I had breakfast and started for the school with my father. He took me to the Habib Public School.
It took us half an hour to reach the school. When I stepped inside the school with my father I was little bit afraid. I saw many students on the school campus. Some were playing , some were talking to each other. Realizing me in a new environment my heart began to beat.
Then my Father admitted me in class one. She welcomed me and took me to the class and gave me a seat. All the students in the class were staring at me. I felt a bit nervous once again to see the new faces. But soon I became very easy.

My first day was, as my sister had predicted, not exemplary. The student that I was assigned to follow on my first was not the most accepted boy in the school. I, therefore, did not get the opportunity to meet as many people as I might have hoped. I was immediately associated with that boy. I did meet a few people, though. Abdula Aldik and Eric Cordero were among my first friends.…

As I entered first grade in Religious Education, the smile on her face told me that this was going to be fun and exciting. The teacher seemed happy and comfortable to have me as her student. All of the other kids came in, introducing ourselves to the teacher and talking about our summer. The room was small, but was enough for her to teach. The first day of school began and ended with a treat she brought for us. Since the start, I knew that I would get along with her just fine…

I walked with one of my other close friends to my fifth-period class, language arts- my favorite. Upon entering the classroom, I immediately recognized the teacher. She had been my favorite on shadow day. She went on to teach us, or rather just talk to us about herself and what our year would look like. Her humorous and friendly persona calmed and reassured me. It pulled me away from the first-impression mindset and helped me realize how important it was just to ¨enjoy the moment¨ and to just be myself, like she was doing in that moment. I was ready to finish the day strong.…

The hardest part was coming from a school where my whole class was 15 students to a class of 70 students. At my old school, I knew everybody and everything about them. I was a quiet person who minded my business and even sat by myself at the lunch table; however, this did not last long. During the first full week of school, I joined the Cross Country team. I had never run cross-country up to this point but wanted to try something new. Being a former football player, I shared a connection with some of the…

The first day of sixth grade was a monumental day for me. I was being exposed to new teachers, new friends, and a new environment. When I arrived at school, the first thing I had to face was my locker. After multiple tries, the locker finally opened. The next sixth grade obstacle I had to face was choosing a seat to sit at. I awkwardly walked into math class, scanning the room for an open chair and decided to sit with a couple of my friends from fifth grade. One of the biggest struggles of the first day was finding my classes, as walking all around the school to get where I need to be was new to me. It took a lot of adjusting, as our grade had gone from being the big kids in…

The first day I came to school, in my hand ,there was a little secure fist of my mom .Her fist was so warm and gentle taking me all the way to the main gate. Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. From Holly Springs to Apex we moved in a rush and as soon as possible. I kept to myself mostly not wanting anything to do with leaving the house or talking to anyone but occasionally my family. The first day of middle school is one I’ll remember for a long time. All my friends from elementary school were all going to a different middle school then I was so on the first day I knew absolutely no one. Because we moved so late in the summer I was considered a late transfer student, so on the first day of school they still hadn’t made my schedule yet. I was stuck in the office fighting back tears for all of my first 3 periods waiting for them to finally finish my schedule. Because I was late to my classes on the first day I had to wait to set up…

Everything happened when I was year-two in grade school. It started when I saw a student standing and looking at me well, I think he’s not a normal student who’s have freedom to play, to talk to someone, to eat during recess time or not even to study during examination days. Because me, yes I am; only one in the school can see him standing and staring at me. At the first place I thought everybody can see him. So I’m fearless to go near to him or even to talk to him. Though he didn’t talk back to me I still keep on asking him why does he crying. But later on I caught some people’s attention on why am I talking alone. I remembered how they talked, stared, teased and laughed at me saying: “That young girl is talking alone look!” I’ve wondered at that very moment saying to myself, “Every second had been done, is it all an imagination or is it the moment of truth?” The young boy never visited me again. Days, weeks, months and years passed by, all supernatural things for me are now simple natural things. Yes, after I saw that young boy, there’s a lot of like him that I saw and will see in my life.…

A memorable day is something which is unforgettable, a sweet and a pleasurable thing to remember, to cherish for. Memories of the day when I got my B.Ed results flashed on my eyes. Amidst the huge tension, I went to check my final result in college. I could not have my proper lunch as there was a fear factor that was ruling my mind. My mind was filled with a strange stage of anxiety and expectation. I was at my blue attire, a blue churidar with a white dupatta , which I consider lucky on rare occasions. The sand of time is passing on, filling each moment with more tension. It was making me more and more restless. It was around 3 P.M that the results were unveiled amidst the huge crisis of other candidates. And now finally!!! Got it!! Yes! I got a first class amongst top ten in the list! My joy knew no bounds! I could hardly imagine at that point that I could come out with such flying colors. My teachers who have guided me throughout were present at the moment and they embraced me out of joy and blessed me as well. My heart was throbbing out of excitement.…
