This is the only personification their was in the song which was "In the blink of an eye just a whisper of smoke you could lose everything". In life many things can happen in an instant, But when things happen in life there’s always a purpose for it to happen. Over time you will have to learn that what’s done is done, move on with your life and always think positive thoughts. Just stay focused on the present and spend the last of it while it lasts. This quote is saying that you could lose something quickly and that's when she’s gone, he feels like he has lost everything. You have to know that in life things don’t last as long as you expect it to

Music has played a major role throughout the evolution of human kind. It has been around since the days of cavemen who discovered the effects of banging rocks and sticks in a rhythm. Through the years music has been used as a medium for expression of thoughts, feelings, and ideas. The lyrics of the song are usually the easiest and least complex way of expressing these feelings. There are more subtle ways that are often overlooked though. These are the tone of voice, tempo of the music, the instruments used, hidden meanings or metaphors, and the overall way the song sounds. A good example of this is the song Kiss My Irish Ass by Frank Mackey and the Keltic Cowboys.…

The lyrics of the pop song, “Stronger”, by Kelly Clarkson, is highly significant because of its empowering message. The lyrics allow listeners to feel confident about being strong no matter what or who may try to bring someone down, even if it were their own mistakes. To convey this message, Clarkson used many literary devices. For example, in lines like, “What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, Stand a little taller” there is external rhyme, which makes the song more pleasurable to the ears. Its chorus, “What doesn't kill you makes you stronger” is a metaphor, that refers to the fact the previous mistakes and people that hurt one’s feelings, should making them stronger. The theme of these lyrics is that there needs to be growth…

    - This description has been applied to music because anyone and everyone can communicate through music to express emotions or thoughts. I agree with this assessment because I’ve always found that people have easier times finding songs relating to what they are going through than actually explaining themselves, therefore allowing for people to understand and relate to the person.…

There is a certain pain that is felt whenever a loved one passes. Beyond sadness, it is hurt, it is anger, it is confusion, and an almost unidentifiable emptiness where the lungs should be. People who have not experienced such loss have a happy, if hazy, view of the world. Then, there are those who lose someone… a major someone... so very special. They do eventually move on, but the pain alters them forever. Ed Sheeran, in the song “Afire Love,” illustrates how the loss of an individual can impact everyone around them, young and old.…

Music has continuously been changing ever since the first beat was tapped, the first piano was struck, the first violin was plucked, and the first horn was blown; however, in the last 150 years, the meaning of lyrics and the style of music has changed drastically. From Bing Crosby to Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Eminem, the artists and composers have altered the way music sounds on the radio, computer, and other musical devices. Every genre has artists, who have songs, which have lyrics that contain a story. Whether the story is from a memory, a dream, or an ambition, it becomes clear when it is being heard by billions of people. Music has become a basis for artists to exert their most inner emotions and thoughts into lyrics that others can relate to, live by, and act upon, as well as a means to degrade women in an approach that people don’t realize until the lyrics are sought out, the song is heard an abundance of times, or the video is seen.…
