Medical Terminology
To be an effective healthcare professional you must be able to communicate fluently in medical terminology. Medical terms are used daily in the medical field. It is used to describe conditions of patients and treatment. It is used in notes and medical records. Understanding and using the correct medical terms is vital to avoid errors. In the medical language, ones need to perfect their reading, listening, analyzing, writing and speaking skills. Out of the five skills mention in this week’s discussion spelling is the following skill I need to work on. The skill I do well in is the pronunciation of medical terms, however, not all of the medical words are spelled as they are pronounced. I plan to put in place a
