The Problem: ItS Background
Introduction
Technology nowadays is the basic need for businesses or companies. It helps a lot in such a way that it makes work more progressive and productive. People in our society are not satisfied on what they have. They made discoveries, development and experiments for the progress and solution for this chaos situation of our society. Having computers and computer programs may help a business grow bigger and it help to abridge the prolonged manual operation of a business, institution or a company usually did. It helps a lot because almost all the companies nowadays uses computer literate and very competitive in many aspects. Whatever kind of business you manage, you are required by law to keep records relating to it.
Nowadays a lot of hospitals were using Computer Systems. For them to keep records, like Medical and Dental Record System were the documents related to the history of present illness, physical examination , diagnosis treatment done and management of a patient. Medical and Dental Record System (MDRS) is a computerized system and the name itself.
The researchers therefore will make the NEUST from a manual operation in school clinic on Medical and Dental records of the student and faculty to be computerized. Because manual operation is very slow, it will took you one hour to retrieve medical and dental records of the patients, time consuming, and not very good systematic way of having transaction not like in computerized, it can save more time, do more work, save more money and improve functionality and accuracy if we can successfully install our proposed system at our school clinic. Statement of Objectives This project will develop a system that will includes the Profiling, keeping Medical and Dental Records of the Patients and it also includes the printouts of Reports and Findings of the patients.
