Project: To sell Mercedes Benz E Class

Target Audience: Women age 40+

Theme: Stay Classy, Stay Mercedes

I would design a series of advertisements, which focus on displaying the classy design and the brand prestige of Mercedes Benz. I would pass the message to my female customers that Mercedes represents your high social status, your good taste and your privileged way of living. It’s the same as spending a hundred thousand on a Hermes Birkin bag.
To women over 40, the most they care about is their age. However, in this series of campaign, I will tell them that even though you are not young anymore, you are classier, more elegant and would attract more successful men than those 20s or 30s girls.
As Mercedes’s major competitor, BMW has been considered to be a young and wild car brand. Their buys are young, tacky and like to show off. So I would like to use a comparison character of a young woman driving a BMW car in my campaign series.

In my series of campaign, I would create two major roles, one is a 40 years old elegant woman who wears a Chanel suit dress, like Carey Bradshaw, drives a Mercedes Benz E350.

Another role is a young, sexy and blonde girl wears a very short deep-V neck dress that shows her cleavage, driving a BMW 6.

Scene 1:
Those two cars park outside a bar and those two women are drinking with their friends in the bar. There is a successful gentleman like Mr. Big drinking with our Benz woman, and they have been talking and laughing the whole night and he asks for her phone number. However, when Mr. Charm is waiting for the restroom, he sees our hot BMW girl and immediately attracts by her due to effect of alcohol. Then they dance together and drink together for a few round, and he totally forgets our Benz Woman. And the Benz Woman sees them together and left heart-broken because she likes him too. Then, the scene back to the couple, the Mr. Charm goes home with our Blondie. The day after, He wakes up with

Ageism is manifested in many ways, some explicit, some implicit, such as the presumption that older persons are undesirable, because of the values embraced by society that youth is better and more flattering, in terms of looks, ideals, freshness, etc. Part of the problem that people who are confronted with ageism face, almost mirror the terms “has-been,” “stale,” and “out of date.”…

As an exquisite woman walks into a room, it is not uncommon to see heads turn her way. We have seen beautiful women be the center of attention in many instances, such as when a bride walks down the aisle to her groom, or perhaps when Julia Roberts walks out in a stunning red opera dress in Pretty Woman, illustrating her transformation from rags to riches. The familiar arrival of the pretty woman in movies and books is also seen in Lancôme’s perfume advertisement. Julia Roberts, the face of this particular perfume, walks into an elegant event wearing a glittering gown and is strongly portrayed as the most striking woman of the party. Throughout the advertisement we see that Julia is different than the other characters at the event, and she sets herself apart from them with the help of her perfume. This commercial’s use of contrasting characters, setting, and sequence strongly implies that using ‘La Vie est Belle’ will allow you to become an individual among your peers.…

    Porsche Case Analysis

Rawlinson’s concern is to succeed to attract a new segment of the market and to change both users’ behavior and perception towards the Porsche products. In fact, what is common for the Porsche users is that they tend not to use their vehicle during winter time; a habit that they acquired because of the weather conditions that damage their precious and usually wellmaintained car. Worldwide, Porsche takes part into the market of high end luxurious cars, it competes with brands known as being highly ranked in their range (Lexus, Mercedes). So is the case in the Canadian market. Porsche is a brand that captivates a certain category of buyers, with an average age of 45 years old certainly ones with a high income and a good social status who can afford the car’s price. The different models offered by Porsche makes it possible for the brand to capture the interest of different users all along the years. Five models of Porsche are displayed to please the interest of the brand’s amateurs who are usually into this brand since their early age. The Canadian market had witnessed an evident decrease in sales that went down by 17 % between 2007 and 2008 due to the financial crisis not because of the relocation of Porsche Canada. The challenge is that even though the luxury car market is filled with competitors such us BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz and Jaguar, the users are more attracted to standard and basic sports…

When Fiat began it’s acquisition back in 2009 of Chrysler Group, taking a 58.5 percent stake in the company, they took a company in need of a bailout and turned it around with a great advertising tagline “Imported from Detroit.” Fiat not only needed this campaign to be effective for Chrysler to make a comeback, but also to begin infiltrating the US market with Fiats. Although the iconic commercial “Born of Fire” featuring Detroit native Eminem aired back in 2011, during the third quarter of the Superbowl, it still has resonated in my memory as one that reached into the hearts of American’s at a time when practically everything was being imported.…
