Benefits of an MBA in Finance
I seek to gain knowledge for successfully running a construction and project management consultancy in the long run. For career advancement, it is now vital to understand dynamics of project management consultancies and sharpen requisite skills. The present focus is to hone skills in finance, economics, quantitative analysis and business management.
Four years of experience in Indian real estate and construction exposed me to the dynamics of international business and also, the relevance of Finance fundamentals in dictating business operations. A thorough grounding in this field can transform me into an independent and dynamic decision maker with a holistic approach. The skills acquired will allow me to address both physical planning concerns and financial instruments, so that I can oversee a project from bringing investors for developing land to planning and execution stages. Equipped with Master’s in project management along with civil engineering background provides me with the ability and perspective to maximize graduate work at MBA in Finance. By strengthening analytical abilities as well as leadership experience, this combination is the best fit for my career to develop to its fullest potential, at an accelerated pace towards my long term goal. I realize that multi faceted courses offered by the department such as Financial Administration, International Finance, Futures and Options, Mergers and Acquisitions, Problems in Finance management, New Venture Finance, Problems in Finance management will help me attain an expertise to deal with ambiguities, assess business dilemmas and reflect strategically in order to accelerate up the value chain and realize my goals This opportunity will equip me with the fundamental business principles essential for operations of any commercial enterprise. This will enable me to address imminent changes in Construction and Real estate industry, envision beyond the obvious and emerge as an entrepreneur consultant.
