Mazon Canad A Case Study
Mazon Canada is a Canadian charity that helps with national jewish response to hunger. Mazon has allocated about $8,000,000 to hunger programs across the country. Also, allocated 7 million dollars frontline organizations battling hunger across Canada. There Allocations Committee, as well the Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from all streams of life including rabbis, accountants, lawyers, professors and community professionals. In the last 25 years they helped thousands of Canadians through hundreds of programs. In 2016 Mazon Canada granted over $250,000 to 130 organizations.
