Maze Runner Book Comparison
The book The Maze Runner by James Dashner is not much like the movie in my opinion. I like the book better than the movie because is has more details and the movie doesn’t have everything the book has. The movie is about Thomas the protagonist who has is put into a maze with a bunch of other teenagers and has to search the maze for a way out. He has no memory of his past and all he can do it try and find the exit to the maze. The book and movie are similar but not that closely the same to me. Some differences are through the whole book Thomas has very little memory of what his life was before he was put into the maze. In the movie he starts to remember things a whole lot faster, almost as soon as the movie starts where that's not what happens in the book. I like the book

Usually in movies there will be an actor that looks nothing like how they are described in the book. In this case most of the actors look how i pictured them from the book. They also had the same attitude and personality as they did in the book. I think the movie did a good job of comparing this part. Another part of the book I liked was the big mutant creatures they called grievers. In the book it was a pretty broad description of them and everyone probably imagined them differently. In the movie I think they did a good job of creating it and making them alike. Although it was not exactly how I thought. I thought it would be hard for them to recreate this part but they did better than I expected and they were a like. In the end the book is better than the movie is but they are similar with some big differences. The differences are too major for me to prefer the movie over the book. I know that movies have to be shorter and move along faster than the book does but I think the movie could have been better. Both are really good and i enjoyed them but I personally think that the book is better than the
