Hi, I agree the episodes often do not relate to the title of the story. Perhaps Seinfeld’s episodes were such a success for such a long time as the storyline kept viewers intrigued. With each episode viewers never knew what would transpire next. Seinfeld is quirky, fun, and uplifting. I always finished watching the show with a better outlook on life than before. Perhaps Seinfeld enlightened viewers to realize mishaps are a normal part of life.…

The Simpsons, written by Matt Groening, is currently the longest running sitcom on television today, dating back to December 17, 1989 when it first aired. Family Guy, written by Seth MacFarlane, has been on since December 20, 1998 when it first aired. The Simpsons and Family Guy are both very comical cartoons that have many differences and similarities in the way they make fun of pop culture, government, and ethnic or religious backgrounds. These two shows are said to be the same show just from different time eras, which in some cases is true. They both take faults of anything from the United States or anywhere in the world and then exploit it with either irony, sarcasm, or a different comical technique. The differences between these two is how they make fun of things, the references the use from different generations, and the way their writers think when making jokes and how they want to portray them politically or ethically.…

Everyone should watch programming like The Simpsons or Family Guy because of the messages that these shows satirize disguised as “all in good fun” entertainment, though both shows try to get across the same messages both shows have their similarities and differences. The Simpsons have been on television for around 28 seasons that is more than any other U.S. Television show, while Family Guy has only been on for 15 seasons which is still impressive. Here are some of the major comparisons: both shows try to satirize what is happening in real life in order to jog audience’s minds, Family guy’s plot is all over the place while The Simpsons is more straight forward, and finally Family Guy’s characters are kind of modeled after The Simpsons characters.…

The Simpsons is an animated sitcom created in 1989 by Matt Groening for FOX. The Simpsons can be described as a series which is about a middle-class family of five and their daily life. I want to give a short information about this family. Homer Simpson is the father of the family, works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and we can say that he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Marge Simpson is the mother of the family and she is a housewife who always has to deal with Homer’s stupidity. Bart Simpson is their son who is also known as the prank king of the town. Lisa Simpson is the daughter who is exceptionally smart but not so social. At last but not least there is Maggie the baby who only communicates by sucking on a pacifier. Of course, when we are watching The Simpsons, we see a critic of current events. In other words, The Simpsons does not only show us the life of a middle-class family, but also gain a new perspective over current events that can be defined as controversial.…
