Mass Mdia in My Life
Mass media in everyday life is a key factor to many of us in our effort to move on in life. Whether I am surfing the internet, watching the news, sitting around with family watching a movie, or playing video games all these factors have some type of influence on me or my family. While I may have different uses for each particular media viewing, they all have some type of influence over me.
When I wake up in the morning, I immediately turn on the news in hope that the media has something to share with me. This information may be beneficial or just a total waste of time. The media tends to overdue what they are trying to get across. Over and over again they press certain issues that I get tired of the information that they are trying to cram down my throat. Sometimes the media has put aside all the bad influences and is portraying immorals as a good thing for society, go figures.
While I work, I turn on my satellite radio or television to give me a diversion from the monotony of work. It gives me an out so I do not have to focus one hundred percent on the moment. It also keeps me connected to all powerful media again. I have at my fingertips information that can be communicated to me in an instant whenever someone thinks there is an importance in what may be happening around the world or our community. I seem to constantly connect one way or another.
When I get home at night it is to the media again that we sit around and socialize with family members over a movie or a pre recorded show from earlier in the day that we all can watch together. It seems more and more that mass media is a major infiltration into my life from gathering information, to getting away from the world through a movie or some other means of entertainment.
