Martin Luther King Jr. said that "the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." I believe that this quote means that it is easy to say that you support your values when you are happy and things are going well but the true test of your values is what you are willing to fight for when things get rough. For example, it is easy to say that you believe in equal rights for all people in the comfort of your own home but standing up for others in a civil right march where you could be arrested, beaten or even killed is a much different thing. Therefore, you shouldn't judge someone only on their words but how they act when times get
