Martin Luther King Character Analysis
“A hero is someone who, in spite of weakness, doubt or not always knowing the answers, goes ahead and overcomes anyways.” Based on this heroes can come from anywhere and can achieve almost anything if they put the willpower to it. Heroes can put others beforehand, they have patience, and most importantly make differences. Without a doubt any hero will put others, no matter who, before themselves. In the book i'm reading the main character Sam saves a full school bus kids by stepping up. The bus driver, while driving, has a heart attack and the bus was still going, Sam then pulled the bus over to make sure the bus didn't crash. After thinking it through he decided to confess his love for her and take her back which began his happily ever after. In other words when a person fails they see it as an opportunity to give up, but to a hero it's a chance to get back up again. Most importantly a hero will make differences in their own and others lives. For instance Martin Luther King Jr. might pop into your head for his heroic actions. He helped millions by stopping segregation between whites and african americans by having bus boycotts. He has even inspired many with his “I have a dream” speech telling how he dreamed for a better and brighter future and to eliminate hatred between everyone. Not to mention Martin was influenced by Gandhi, henceforth a hero was inspired by another hero leading to inavation with others and making many differences. In summary many heroes will have changed people’s lives in some way whether it be big or small and no matter the person. Heroes contribute to what makes this world go around as a society, even the smaller deeds. Without them there’s no doubt in my mind we wouldn’t have made it this far.
