Only one case of Airbus's colluding with a middleman apparently to bribe officials to buy its aircraft has led to convictions. According to Syria's state news agency, three people were sentenced in Syria in October 2001 to 22½ years imprisonment each (later reduced to ten years) for “serious irregularities” in connection with state-owned Syrianair's order for six Airbus A320s in 1996. The court also imposed a fine on the three of $268m. They were a former minister for economic affairs, a former transport minister, and Munir Abu Khaddur, the middleman. Mr Khaddur was sentenced in absentia, and is reportedly living in Spain. The court found that the men had forced the airline to buy the planes, worth $240m, and as a result Syrianair had incurred “big financial losses”.…

MSI was established in 1961 as a not-for-profit institute with the goal of bringing together business leaders and academics to create knowledge that will improve business performance. The primary mission was to provide intellectual leadership in marketing and its allied fields. Over the years, MSI’s global network of scholars from leading graduate schools of management and thought leaders from sponsoring corporations has expanded to encompass multiple business functions and disciplines. Issues of key importance to business performance are identified by the Board of Trustees, which represents MSI corporations and the academic community. MSI supports studies by academics on these issues and disseminates the results through conferences and workshops, as well as through its publications series. Marketers’ main emphasis is on the customer while sellers focus on the product. A seller is only interested in converting product into cash, he is interested in a long lasting relationship but a marketer believes that business begins with friendship and after sale relationship .A seller sells what the producer has and need not necessary be a product or service that the buyer wants while marketer markets a product a service or a product that meets the need of buyer. This is attested by the way Jane has created good rapport with her customers and even gives them credit facilities. In contrast Moses is a seller because he is un-flexible in terms of working hours and he does not offer credit facilities to his clients. His main aim is to sell the product.…
