1. BRIEF

This report will compare two hair colouring products, Liese Bubble Hair Colour and L’Oreal Paris. It is important to help Liese brand with marketing strategies and create new activities to move forward in order to increase income and attract new users to Liese brand. The report will give a short background of the two products and compare products on target market, price and promotion. Finally, recommendations will be made about how to address Liese problems and the way to improve sales.

2. BACKGROUND

The easy way to change style for consumers is “hair colouring”. L’Oreal Paris is the first brand that people think of for hair colouring while Liese Bubble Hair Colour is the first brand that brings the new technology which is called “foam hair colour”. However, both of them are trying to be the leader of hair colour in the world. This part is going to describes both of them in backgrounds.

2.1 LIESE BUBBLE HAIR COLOUR

Regarding Liese Bubble Hair Colour, this brand comes from a Japanese company named “Kao”. Kao is a big global manufacturer of premium beauty care brands that are known around the world for their innovation and quality now. They have a wide range of hair-styling, leave-on treatment and hair colour.

Their hair colouring product is well-known under the name of “Liese Bubble Hair Colour”. They focus on women who like to change their hair colour with fashionable hair colour and do it at both salon and home. They are the first brand which introduced new method that is called “Foam hair colour” with easy processing so consumers can do at home by themselves.

2.2 L’OREAL PARIS

Looking at L’Oreal, this is the world’s leading brand in the global beauty industry. They have a world wide range of personal-care products such as cosmetics, skin care, hair styling and hair care. The top two products which generate more than 70% of income for them are skin care and hair colouring. Moreover, they also have two type

Besides that, the company motto is seize new opportunities, mainly driven by the significant investments made by the group in the field of research. From 1984 to 2000, these succeeding twelve years are marked by a great period of growth to LOreal. Alongside these strategic product launches that succeed in strengthening the Groups brand image.
