The first demographic of the market to target is young adults, ages ranging from upper twenties to mid-thirties in hot climates, whom own their own properties and are constantly busy. This target market is attractive because at this age, young adults have just graduated from college and are consumed with both work and still attempting to spend time with friends. By devoting most of their time trying to make a name for themselves and advancing within their company and the rest of their time trying to maintain a social life, young adults do not have much time left for tedious housekeeping chores. The benefit of young adults using the robotic lawn mower is that they will regularly have more time to devote to their activities, interests, and all around busy lives.…

Different types are best designed based with each purpose and by functions. Smallest types are best suited for gardens and residential lawns, the larger types are ride-on, self-contained machines are for larger lawns, and the multi-gang or largest mowers pulled by the tractors to function are for municipal parks and golf courts that contains vast grass-expanses. “You need people who can work well with others, and, even more importantly, you need team leaders who know how to speak to people, to explain, and inspire” (Friedman 287). With agribots and drones, collaborators will need to be able to not only work with different warehouses and orchards but also communicate with divergent vendors in order to make business and build a profit. According to Michal Mazur, guest contributor of MIT technology review, states “drones are part of the solution, along with closer collaboration between governments, technology leaders, and industry”. In other words, different aspects of our workforce, like technology and farming, will be coming together in order to build the economy around the productivity of the agribots. Agribots and drones will build the economy of the Yakima Valley because they will be harvesting faster and more efficient making it easier to sell quickly and earn a profit. While creating the jobs of great collaborators, agribots and drones will similarly create jobs of great…

The first quadrant is for the jobs humans do right now that robots could do more efficiently. For example, machines weave cotton making perfect cloth even though humans can do it themselves. The only difference is that humans cost more money to make it (306). Machines have mastered the art of performing routine jobs and will replace the humans that cannot work as quickly. Robots search CAT scans by the millimeter to look for cancerous cells and find them faster than doctors because they do not have short attention spans like humans (307). Another example is the machines on the farms of America today. Milk would cost much more if milk farms did not have the fast machines to collect the milk from cows. If humans were still doing the milking we would not have as much milk, and it would cost more (300). Efficiency is one of the main positive effects of robots taking our jobs, not only because it gets done faster but because items would cost…

Another reason why machines should be filling jobs is the economic benefit it has. The lower cost of machine labor causes a series of events that include lowering competitive prices, increase supply, and in theory, leads to stimulation of the economy. If machines were to replace the common working man, that would average to be 50,000 more dollars to be spread to other workers or fund charitable organizations. Although it appears that job opportunities are declining due to the appearance of new machinery, these machines are only changing the makeup of the job…

Ryan Kunde is a winemaker whose family’s picture-perfect vineyard nestles in the Sonoma Valley north of San Francisco. But Kunde is not your average farmer. He’s also a drone operator—and he’s not alone. He’s part of the vanguard of farmers who are using what was once military aviation technology to grow better grapes using pictures from the air, part of a broader trend of using sensors and robotics to bring big data to precision agriculture.…

There is a lot of debate around the development of robots and AI machinery and this is especially a growing problem in the agriculture industry. The progression of robots has rocketed in the US since the 20th century. Robots in a way, been enhance jobs, specifically the agricultural jobs. Some say they make them better and more productive, and that may be true to an extent, but robots shouldn't be allowed to take over hard working people's whole jobs when they really need them. Although, the machines/ “robots” brought in such as tractors and bulldozers have enhanced the work of field work, they aren’t as efficient in some areas as humans are and they also cost more money to keep up than it is to pay a human worker. Agriculture jobs have never shied away from using robots and AI machines before in jobs, and with the development of them, they aren't going to anytime soon. So I feel, that robots…

In the article “The impact of technology on employment”, published on the World Economic Forum on October 02, 2012, and written by Kenneth Rogoff, a professor of Economics and Public Policy at Harvard University, the author affirms that as wages keep rising, factory managers are already looking for chances to replace employees with robots. As nowadays smartphones are being sold at a very low price, online purchases will eliminate great number of retail jobs. Calculations suggest that technological changes will lead to a 5-10 million jobs loss every year…

Stefan Hajkowicz, a principal CSIRO scientist, claims that “It’s already happening and the technology is there, the only lag factor is associated with town planners, engineers, lawyers and city administrators that haven't put in place the systems to make it operable and viable”(Hennessy). The expenses associated with these automated machines are incredible and it takes time for the implementation. As emphasized before, the number of jobs which will be lost to robots are tremendous. Particularly, repetitively manual jobs in retail and accounting and legal offices will be…
