How people who are Arab Americans are marginalizing from everyone else? Arab Americans are much mistreated everywhere they go. My resources show that Arab American’s are very unlike because of their race history. After certain tragedies, Americans immediately think it was done be “terrorists” or the Arab race. And it causes the people to lash out towards the Arab Americans at their houses. Arabic people have been targeted in airports ever since 9/11 happened, especially by the airport security. Also, young Arab Americans are getting abused and harassed in their schools. They even get bullied inside the work place. According to Natsu Taylor in The Treatment of Arab Americans Today, “Even though white American terrorists were quickly identified as prime suspects in the Oklahoma City bombing, Arab Americans across the United States reported a surge of harassment and intimidation in the following weeks. In Oklahoma City a mosque was fired upon and a young woman had a miscarriage after men shouting anti- Mulsim epithets shattered the windows in her house.” (p. 2) To be clear, this shows after the bombing in Oklahoma City, Americans still attacks Arab Americans after a bombing occurred, even though there proof that white Americans did the bombing. According to Human Rights’ report, Salah Ya’aqubi said, “This is the most offensive and humiliating experience I have ever had. I was immediately suspect as I walked in the airport, just because I am Arab." Also, stated by the Human Rights report "The Arab Association for Human Rights(HRA) and the Center Against Racism {hereinafter "the investigation organizations") have accumulated numerous complaints submitted by Arab citizens relating to discriminatory security inspections they have undergone at the hands of sercurity personnel, despite the fact that they did not pose the slightest security risk to the other passengers."
