Mandarin Oriental Manila, one of the prestigious hotels in the Philippines. It is well known as the best business hotel because of its exceptional service in the centre of the city. It is conveniently placed in the Financial Capital of the Philippines, along Makati Avenue, Makati City. It is owned by an international hotel investment and management group with deluxe and first class hotels, resorts and residences in sought-after destinations around the world, the Jardines Company. The company’s aim is to be recognized widely as the best global luxury hotel group, providing 21st century luxury with oriental charm in each of its hotels. The mission of the hotel is recognized by the word delight, in which this acronym represents everything about Mandarin Oriental. From the first letter of the word, D, meaning Distinctive, in which they explains that the hotel has its own distinctive flair and charm, assuring the guests receives unparalleled warmth and hospitality. The second letter, E, meaning Exotic, for they explains that each hotel of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has its strong sense of place with an inviting atmosphere. The letter L, for Lively, which means it is a place with energy and momentum. The letter I, for the word Imaginative, because of its innovative and enticing architecture designs and services that welcomes the guests. G, for the word Guest-centered, for they explains that their service is passionate, personal and surprising. H for the word Harmonious, which means that their distinctive charm and hospitality is provided in elegant and immaculate surroundings. And the last, T for the word Time-giving for they explains that Mandarin Oriental gives the guests a time to experience life and all its pleasures. Aside from its mission, Mandarin Oriental is also distinguishable by its symbol, the eleven bladed fan. These represent the 11 Legendary Quality Experience pillars, a commandment which all the employees are being reminded
