ANALYSIS ELIZABETH ARDEN INC OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS:-
Introduction:
The beauty industry is one of the most highly competitive industry. It changes rapidly because of the customers' preferences and industry trends. Many facts might effect on beauty industry such as brand strength, product's price , in store attendance and visibility, innovation, perceived value, product availability, order fulfillment, service to the customer, promotional activities, advertising, special events, new product introductions, e-commerce and mobile commerce initiatives, and other activities.
Elizabeth Arden, Inc. is a famous beauty and cosmetic products firm in the worldwide with a far –threw collection of high quality perfumes, skin care and cosmetics brands. It includes many different products such as Elizabeth Arden skin care brands, Celebrity perfumes and Lifestyle Fragrances. It distributes over 250 other prestige fragrance brands, mostly in the United States, by distributing agreement and other buying arrangements. The strategy of trading Company is based on two main initiatives. First, it aims to repositioning the Elizabeth Arden brand globally and increasing the market perception of the prestige perfumes collection in global markets, particularly in the European perfume market. Instant one is continuing increasing the high quality fragrance type at mass retail clients in North America.
The company is expecting that these initiatives will increases net sales, and facilitates margins operations and incomes as long as working capital capability and profit on invested capital. They also continuing investing this product on international source by continuing developed market segment in current improving markets, rising in a fast -increasing markets, such as Asia, and in developing sector, and update in color cosmetic and skin care products based on new skills and technologies.
