Malala Yousafzai Hero Essay
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word hero? Maybe the thought of comic book heroes like Batman or Spiderman comes to mind. However, this modern era has many heroes that come in different shapes and sizes. Malala Yousafzai is a hero to many young modern girls. Yousafzai, born 1997 in Pakistan, is known for being an activist in women's right for education and, in 2014, winning the Nobel Peace Prize (Wallace). Malala Yousafzai is a hero because she went against the system of Pakistan to earn basic rights, such as education, with her brave, compassionate and insightful attitude.
