Malala Yousafzai Most fourteen year olds get out of bed and the first thought on their mind is about the clothes they are going to wear that day, while Malala’s first thought is how she will stay alive that day. Malala has to worry about being killed because she is constantly targeted by the Taliban, an Islamic militant group (Oxford University Press). She is targeted due to her activism. She fights for equal rights on education, woman, and children. Malala suffers through her own injustices, which inspires her to stand up for others, making her a respected activist.
Ever since the Taliban took over her town of Mingora, Pakistan, Malala’s life has changed. The Taliban causes her and many others with injustices along the lines of education, woman, and children.
