Mahalia Research Papers
Mahalia is a highly motivated, and mature student. Since little, Mahalia has always been an organized and reliable student. Throughout her time in high school, Mahalia has always been very focused on her school work. Not to mention, she is very diligent in her classes, especially in her science classes. Mahalia is truly focused on pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor, and is unwilling to let anything stand in her way. Honestly, I know that Mahalia is a truly worthy student, and would do outstanding work if she was accepted into the Michigan Health Sciences Pre-Health Sciences Academy. In summary, I know Mahalia well enough to know that she is an outstanding and exceptional student.

There were other resorts on the island, but Namaste was everyone’s favorite resort. The resort owner, Jack Nelson did everything in his power to make sure his guest was pleased while they stayed at the resort, so his resort could retain the title as the best resort of Hawaii islands. It has been more than three years that I know this applicant. When I joined Kepler in 2014, this applicant was a student in the first year. During that academic year, I taught her communications and other skills that helped her to work well on her projects. Through her works and class participation, I could see that she was a hard work. She always met deadlines and make sure her works were of high quality. Another thing is that she was always looking for support whenever needed. In fact, whenever she found out that she missed something in class, she could attend office hours for clarification. In 2015, when she was hired as a course facilitator, she was very committed, determined and responsible. In fact, when she had to work on any task, she made sure to complete it on time and with efficiency. Till now, her actions show that she is collaborative. She really believes in team work. On March 22, 1989 a star was born in Brooklyn. Parents Robin and Lee Laibhen gave birth to a daughter named Tiffani. Tiffani was eight pounds and seven ounces and a very healthy baby. Tiffani was born Haitian, Puerto Rican and Black with her Haitian roots from her father Lee and her Puerto Rican and Black roots from her mother Robin. Because she was raised by both parents Tiffani was spoiled rotten until she moved to. One of her memorable memories happens to Tiffani at the age of 15 in Philadelphia. She was not going to be the baby anymore and experienced first hand the wonderful and painful delivery of her baby sister. Taffani said, "Watching the birth of a child makes you second guess on having kids. It looks so painful." That was not the last sibling Taffani's mother had. Robin also gave birth to two more children giving Tiffani another sister and brother. Tiffani was still a shining star but not only to her parents but to her younger siblings as well.…

She worked really hard in all of her classes, but especially her nursing classes because she knew that the reward would pay off. Studying every time she could, she thought that she would have a chance at getting into the program. All of her hard work paid off and her GPA was really good, but most likely not good enough to get into Oshkosh’s nursing program the first semester she applied. She now faced a new problem; trying to figure out the next step in her college career. Many advisors had always told her to think of a plan B, but she never thought about it in the depth that people had wanted her to- she didn’t think that a plan B was even in the future. Although Oshkosh is a great school, there are other schools that would be a good fit as well. These schools have good programs that are easier to get into and she could go right when she applied. Another problem for Jensen was that her general education classes were complete so it wouldn’t make sense to stay at Oshkosh for another semester and take filler classes, as that would be a waste of time and money. Jensen knew what the next step would be and was feeling confident about it. She would go to a different school if Oshkosh didn’t accept her on the first…

Ever since I transferred to the University of Miami as an undergrad, I have had the gratification and honor to meet and work with various remarkable people, from physicians to scientists and staff. Doing research and shadowing at Miami Miller School of Medicine gave me the prospect to admire how marvelous the school and its community are. Furthermore, I have had the satisfaction to meet several professors who teach at the medical school and the prospect of learning from them is enticing. Being able to experience first-hand the compassion and care that the doctors at Miller demonstrate their patients have also confirmed that this school is not short of role models for me to follow. Additionally, I have met several students who have shared their…

Those in the healthcare profession are respected, hardworking individuals who went above and beyond to prove themselves capable of helping others in the greatest way possible. My career goals are very straightforward. I’ve taken several steps in high school to accomplish these goals by being well disciplined in my studies, and participating in a Health Careers Internship Program. This program offers me a variety of opportunities that make me a more applicable in a healthcare setting. I’ve learned how to build a strong résumé and cover letter, and how do professional interviews well. We also get the chance to observe and participate in a medical environment. I’ll be shadowing with Dr. Steve Carr at Northern Star Therapy and learn the basics of physical therapy. I’ve done also done volunteer work in a Geriatric setting, at the St. Benedict nursing home in St. Cloud. My plans following high school are to attend the University of Minnesota in the College of Biological Sciences. My hopes are to complete my undergraduate in there in the Pre-Medicine program, attend graduate school, and specialize in a currently undecided field of…

I have attached my unofficial transcript, and a picture of my recent grades if the pdf is unable to open. I understand that receiving a C in metabolism two will be in question as it does not reflect the academic performance expected of me. I assure you this will be my last unsatisfactory depiction of my intentions for pursuing a career in family medicine. I admittedly lost a part of my drive as I stressed over the reality of having a below average GPA and got caught up in the admission process. I was taking three classes over the summer while studying for the MCAT at this time, and juggled writing my personal statement which allowed me to express situations in my life I had never explained to anyone before. My metabolism professor was absent the first three weeks of class as she was on…
