Loving and being in Love
It's helpful to know the difference between loving someone and "being in love," and it helps to do both in a relationship. People make a mistake in thinking of love as a steady, unchanging emotion. Being "in love" can transform into a deeper, constant desire to be together and share a life. But, as everyone knows, being "in love" doesn't always turn into a forever type of relationship. Passion over-rules compassion. The self is what matters the most. There are the things that tend to "take control of people". Whereas "loving someone" is a choice; it's something to make a commitment to. It's a two-way relationship where the other is the driving force. It's a very simple, amazing and complex distinction where it may turn from "the healthy" to the "unhealthy" (even "toxic"). I keep on fallin', In and out of love with you, I never loved someone, The way that I'm lovin' you, Oh, oh, I never felt this way, How do you give me so much pleasure and cause me so much pain? Just when I think I've taken more than would a fool, I start fallin' back in love with you. (Alicia Keys Fallin' Lyrics). The lyrics in this song show exactly how the "control" takes her over and how it can easily go for healthy to unhealthy or vice versa. Being "in love" with someone is a feeling that can come and go based on the circumstances surrounding a romantic relationship. "Being in love" covers mostly the emotional and "automatic" aspects of love and covers infatuation and different aspects of co-dependency and self-service. Loving a person is not only a choice but also a continuous effort to put another person's needs ahead of one's own self. Love for another person, in contrast, is closer to appreciation and affection. Love is fairly reasonable, while being "in love" is more like one of those ordinary, positive infatuations that take someone out of the life they are prone to and introduces them to something new. Some people think that being "in love" is an illusion and

Infatuation is momentary, fleeting, and based off an individual's looks. True love is long lasting, real, and based off an individual's personality. The texts Romeo and Juliet,“Why should a Foolish marriage vow,” and “What happens in our brains when we’re in love,” explain this by giving specific examples. Love has a definition—a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person—but yet has so many different meanings. Thesauruscoping demonstrates the different meanings in which the word Love can deliver. The synonym of Love, Adoration, does not necessarily mean that these words have the same meaning. The definition of Adoration is the act of paying honor, as to a divine being or to worship. These words can be isolated from each other by meaning because they are two different descriptions. Love is an emotion and Adoration is a way of acting towards another. For example, there may be someone who loves to go to church every Sunday, being a part of their daily routine, but has adoration for God, meaning to worship and pay honor to what they believe in. The antonym for Love, however, does not have to be opposite but can have the same meaning as Love. An antonym for Love is Jealous meaning inclined to or troubled by suspicions or fears of rivalry, unfaithfulness, as in love or aims. These two words can have the same meaning, for example, a boy and a girl are head-over-heels in love with each other but the boy may have feelings for another person leaving the girl extremely jealous. This demonstrates that jealousy is expressed in love because the girl would not have been jealous unless she undoubtedly loved the boy. Thesauruscoping can show that a meaning of a word can be expressed in many different ways.…

Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you're in love, you always want to be together, and when you're not, you're thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete. I would like to thank my ex boyfriends for coming into my life. Because of them, I was able to distinguish the difference between the two words. So let me give you some clarity about this confusion. For starters, love is when you’re willing to give your last bite to that person, no matter how hungry you are and how mouthwatering the hamburger is. Infatuation is asking that person to buy you hamburger and when s/he does, you feel flattered. See, loving someone is sharing what you have. Isn’t it a beautiful feeling to eat with the person you love, sharing each other’s food and seeing that person chew while smiling at you? Isn’t it bliss when the love is reciprocated? Being infatuated is allowing yourself to be foolish, irrational and selfish just because you are blinded with your impulse and emotions. You want to be pleased most of the time. Infatuation is likely to be unrequited and sometimes would result to obsession.…
