Being a LLC combines the corporate advantages of limited liability with the tax advantages inherent in partnerships. We decided to choose this structure because of its many benefits and flexibility that suit a start-up business. We are starting as a small business; hence our company is not big enough to run as a fully functional corporation, such as a b-corp. Although five of us are just undergraduates and we lead a small business in the first place, we prefer to form a professional company that can separate ourselves from partner liability but still get the other benefits of a partnership. …show more content…
Target definition of “Eco style”.
1. Geographic: our target will live in America but we will aim particularly at California. Because we set headquarter in Los Angeles and California has a large population of almost 38 million people. There are a lot of wealthy communities in CA, such as Orange County, Hollywood hills, Westwood, Pacific Pallisades, Manhattan beach, Calabasas, and Malibu. We will focus on selling our eco nail polish to the salons within these wealthy communities.
2. Demographic: 30-60-years-old women. Our target costumers have well-paid job and have an expectation for the future, so they afford our exclusive environmentally-friendly nail polish.
3. Psychographic: The target is open-minded and liberal. They can understand the spirit of our brand-new nail polish and they are willing to try it. Most importantly, they love to live in green and eco lifestyle. They believe that natural products can help them build strong and healthy body and lead them to long life.
