Essay #2 Descriptive Essay

My Love
I was fortunate as a young teenager to find a love that’s stronger then an atomic ionic bond. The relationship we created was not instant but long lasting. I am so lucky to be in love with the most perfect guy on earth. It’s been almost three years to the day that I met him in all his magnanimousness. His personality was impactful and almost instantly changed my day to day routine. When my phone buzzed I was excited to see if it was him, I felt as excited as small child on Christmas day every text being a small gift. He made me giddy and happier than I had ever been. His love happened accidently in a heartbeat, one instant throbbing moment. His eyes are brown and his eye brows curve around the top of them creating a robustly winsome appearance that strikes me like a car accident every moment I look into them. His stair is gentle and mesmerizingly unforgettable; I can hardly contain a smile when his eyes are looking straight into mine. His eye lashes are long and accentuate his immaculate oval shaped eyes. His eyes never wander and are always firmly planted of mine or in my direction. He has the most heart-warming look I have ever seen, and the most encouraging smile I have ever created. He was able to heal my pain and I was able to mend his wounds, with just the simple silent stairs of each other’s hearts. I am so absolutely proud of the incredible work ethic he has instilled in himself. He works a difficult full time job, but he hardly ever complains. I have become used to the aroma of oil and coolant. The smell has come to be a comforting smell, it took a bit of time to get used to it but I hardly notice it anymore. It smells like him, and that’s what I like. I almost enjoy it more than his colognes. His essence has become such an everyday thing that I can hardly think of a day where he smells different, I don’t want any other smells on him. His potent smell has become

The scene was one of cosy domesticity, a man and a woman sharing breakfast after a night out clubbing together. Married? Lovers? Boyfriend and girlfriend, or just a platonic relationship, it could have been any of the three, and the scene would have been mirrored in many homes across Rome. They were normal. Or at least, together, they contained a semblance of normality, which to Kyle, was almost as eerie a sensation as was the morning after his first murder to know that the woman across from him, the one who’d have reason to never trust another man, or allow one to touch her ever again, had entrusted him to hold her in his arms as she slept. And held no regrets for having done so, and not just that. She’d also revealed details to him of her life experiences that she doubted to spoken of with such earnestness and honesty to anyone before him, and he’d returned the favour without a second thought. With her eyes closed, and her soft breathing, and the faintest of snores, but no drooling, she’d appeared so serene and peaceful, and the Army veteran hoped that he’d been in same way responsible for the lack of nightmares.…

You knew I was scared of the dark so you left the light in the bathroom( you still do that every time we come over) and you put a chair next to the bed so if me or Kasia fell off nothing would happen to us. Then I became homesick and scared of the night and the dark and you stayed at the bottom of the bed talking to me until I fell asleep and I do not know how you accomplished that. You slept near me the whole entire night in case I woke up and you cared for the slightest need, that I requested. As your eyes were half closed you made sure I was always happy. Then the next morning you made the breakfast that is now the usual at house (Nalesniki, bacon, eggs and homemade blueberry syrup). I will never forget how you cared for me because you influenced me to care for others before myself and everyday of your life you follow…

There are three stories that I loved in particular during this quarter. The Things They Carried, A Roman Incident, and A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings. These three stories carried a lot of emotion and excitement. They all have different plots and backgrounds, but for the most part, there are so much in common between these three stories in a psychological, socio/political, spiritual, queer, and feminist lens. Besides those examples, the one thing that connects these three the most is that the reader can find love in all of the stories.…

A couple of days ago, I was watching a movie where an English teacher asks her students to discuss ‘what is love’. Majority of the class did not know how to respond. At first, I found this odd considering that love is a universally understood emotion that can be felt by most human beings. We express the emotion on a daily basis, whether it be towards our family, friends, or significant others. However, upon some introspection, I realized that it is difficult to come up with a solid definition for it because of its subjective nature. Love exists in many different forms and holds different meanings for different people.…

Love, it is a rather common word in today’s society. The basic noun definition is an intense feeling of deep affection, while the verb definition is to feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to (someone). Seems simple enough correct? Not exactly, although in the modern world language, love is used regularly to express ones feelings, it is often misused. In order to use a word correctly, it must be understood, remembering that love is in the eye of the beholder.…

The use of critical thinking is imperative when trying to persuade others. One must effectively use the three types of appeals in order to be successful. I have noticed how Danielle Crittenden and Judy Brady have used the three appeals in their essays “About Love” and “I Want a Wife.” Crittenden and Brady’s use of tone greatly effects how the audience perceives their writing.…

Love is a complex emotion of attachment and obsession. Love cannot be classified so easily, though; it cannot be stuffed into a social concept and left there. Love has many different meanings to many different people; it can be tossed aside like a dirty rag, unimportant and forgotten, or cherished and cared for like a priceless gemstone. To me, love is a connection between the hearts and minds of two people. It is a feeling of trust and wholeness; a feeling that in the other person’s eyes, you can do no wrong. To explain the process of “falling in love,” I will use a hypothetical couple and analyze their relationship as it progresses.…

The past months have been amazing with you written on every page. If there’s anything that I could be thankful for, it’s you coming into my life in the most unpredictable way and time. Looking back to the first few months of classes, it seemed unbelievable to see us end up in this position. Despite that, I want you to know that I admire the simplest gestures you do for me and I appreciate every single one of them. I love it when you sing to me. I love it when you take my hand in yours. I love it when you kiss me goodbye. I love how you tell me I’m beautiful every day. I love the openness. And of course, I love how you make me feel. You’ve been one of the reasons I have a smile on my face. One of the reasons why I love waking up in the morning.…

I remember the day you changed my life, my love, for it was a long time coming. You were trying to blend in with the rest of them but I only had eyes for you. A strong overwhelming feeling struck me like lightning, butterflies and excitement. Perhaps ordinary to anyone else, but to me, you were shiny and new. I’d heard so many good things about you from my friends; it made me quiver jealousy to hear them talk about you because you weren’t mine. Destiny, fate, whatever you want to call it, I knew our paths were going to cross that day. I had to make you mine.…

The way you surprise people when their least expecting it, or jump at them when they want it the most. You are happy. But you have your days, where you can be down. Oh love, how I wish to feel the warmth of your wrath that others have felt. I wait. And wait. But nothing seems to come.…

This sonnet attempts to convey to the reader that love is not tangible, though it is necessary for life and well being. It investigates situations of pain and misfortune and find none where love would make any difference. "Love Is Not All", explains that love is not a necessity, but that it's absence will cause a man to exist closer to death. Love is not an object, an act, a spirit, or a thought; it is a silent motivater of life.…

Romeo is madly in love with Rosaline. Romeo bewails how Rosaline cannot return the feelings that he has for her. The fact that Rosaline will not even accept rich gifts in exchange for her love emphasizes the one-sided love. This quote also indirectly characterizes Romeo as a foolish and masochistic boy. He believes that he is experiencing true love, even though it is unreturned. He also associates love with pain and enjoys it. This quote is important because it portrays Romeo as a boy whose head is in the clouds about love and is convinced that love is a euphoric and painful experience.…
