Lord Capulet Responsible For Romeo And Juliet's Death Essay
Since the age of Shakespeare, the one question always asked is, who is truly responsible? The Capulet's and Montague’s are in a family feud and surrounded Romeo and Juliet’s love with a harsh reality that they ended up committing suicide next to each other. Now, who is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Lord Capulet is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. His change in behavior and choices resulted in a unhappy Juliet and ultimately the deaths of the couple. Lord Capulet kept making poor choices and always changed something expecting Juliet will comply and stay happy.

Arguably, the biggest mistake was Capulet’s choice of forcing upon for Juliet to wed with Paris, this led her to become unhappy with the situation. Lord

Incidentally, it is also very much Romeo’s fault. Even though there were clearly visible signs of life coming from Juliet, Romeo being driven by despair thinking that Juliet is dead, he didn’t notice Juliet waking up and without hesitation, drank the poison, ending his life. When a loved one has died, we are all driven by emotion and can’t think straight. However, this wasn’t just clearly Romeo’s fault, it is due to him being a teenager, his brain not being fully developed. A teen uses a different part of the brain and ultimately has trouble recognizing these types of things, “Teens also differ from adults in their ability to read and understand emotions in the face of others Recent research shows that teens and adults actually use different regions of the brain in responding to certain tasks.” (Adolescent Brain Development 2), on the other hand, that if his brain reached full maturity he would've easily noticed signs of life coming back to Juliet.
