Locomotor activity The Locomotor activity (Pákáski and Kálmán, 2008) refers to the movement of spontaneous locomotor and exploratory activity in rodents. LMA is a simple performed measurement of behavior to detect the effects of drugs, genetic manipulation, etc., on motor function by measuring horizontal, vertical and stereotyped behavior in rodents. Several measures of locomotor activity in rats, including the distance covered, movement time and speed of progression. This test is sensitive to hippocampal and basal ganglia damage, as well as to hind limb dysfunction (Brudzynski and Krol, 1997). The pool will be located in a procedure room. The circular pool (140cm diameter and 80cm height) contained with water. A platform (20 cm diameter and 40cm height) will be set inside the pool, which will be filled with water to a height 42cm at 22 ± 2 °C and conceptually divided into four quadrants and four points designed as starting positions (N, S, E, or W). The platform will be located in a constant position in the middle of one quadrant equidistant from the center and the edge of the pool and it will be submerged 2cm below the water surface. The water will be added with cassava powder. In each trial, the rat will be placed in the water facing the wall of the pool, in one of the four possible starting locations. The position of starting points will be locked and the series will be repeated in each day. Animals will be received 1 trial/day. This procedure will be repeated for 6 training days. The animal will be allowed to search for the platform for 90 s, and gently guided to it, if it cannot reach the target. If the rat found the platform, it will be allowed to remain there for 15 s and then returned to its home cage.     The homogenates provided were made by homogenizing tissues in a sucrose phosphate buffer in a 1:20 ratio. The protein concentration in bovine cells was measured by diluting the homogenate with a 1:5 ratio; 50 microliters of homogenate and 200 microliters of water. Then 5 known protein concentration samples which were 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0 mg/ml of bovine serum were used to determine absorbance with a spectrophotometer. Two additional samples were made; one was blank and the other was for the specific homogenate sample. Then 3 microliters of bradford assay reagent, which indicates the amount of protein present by color, was added to all samples. The spectrophotometer was zeroed at 595 nm. A standard curve was made with the different absorbencies and concentrations. After the linear equation was formed, the unknown sample concentration was determined using the standard curve equation. A Gel Electrophoresis was used to perform a qualitative analysis. The use of 5 microliters of the homogenate was heated to 80 degrees Celsius.     INTRODUCTION There are many reasons for knowing the identity of microorganisms. The reasons range from the knowing the causative agent of a disease to knowing the correct microorganism in order to make antibiotics. This study was done by applying the following methods; OF Glucose, Indole Production, and Malonate Utilization test for the identification of an unknown bacterium. The methods will assist in determining the unknown bacterium found in a 55 year old male that was passing blood and mucous in his stool. The patient had no pain but mild discomfort during bowel movements. The doctor noted inflammation of the lining of the rectum. The doctor removed a tissue sample for examination and referred the patient to a gastroenterologist for a barium xray and colonoscopy. While utilizing the methods stated above, the bacterium found was a facultative anaerobe due to the Gram Negative Rods, fermentation, and the production of indole. The specific Gram Negative Enteric Bacilli was Shigella dysenteriae. There are many reasons for knowing how to control bacterial growth as well as such as antimicrobial drugs, which assist the body’s defenses against pathogens. Microorganisms are capable of causing infection or spoilage. Controlling bacterial growth is important in poultry farm businesses that use equipment to decontaminate processing plant fluids before disposal. During quality control and safety evaluations, bacteria growth that needs to be controlled can be found. While controlling bacterial growth, clusters of Gram Positive Cocci were found. It was found some ways to control bacterial growth were disinfection, sterilization, antisepsis, sanitization, moist and dry heat, filtration, and radiation; just to name a few.
